As a professional podcast editor, it's in my best interest to find the most efficient way to edit a podcast. There are 3 tricks I learned along the way that have revolutionized my workflow and have more than doubled my hourly rate. All 3 of these hacks are described and demoed in this video!
In Pro Tools, there's a function called Shuttle Lock Speed that allows you to listen back to 2 tracks at a faster rate. With this functions comes the loss of a couple other features, BUT, I've found a way around that.
