Hi Colin, my experience with the newest version of Premiere Pro is quite the opposite. On the latest project I was working, the stabilizer took longer than the earlier versions. What took like a minute earlier was now a couple of minutes or longer. Any reason why it would do that?

Hey Colin, for this latest version, I have noticeable trouble with the timeline clips refreshing. All clips disappear until I pass over them with the mouse, then they temporarily appear. On reddit, someone suggested toggling off the GUI setting. That seems to solve this problem. I feel like this newest version has bugs in it.

Love your work Colin, I've followed it for a long time, but its time to say goodbye to Adobe I'm afraid. It just can't be justified.

@@JadeSambrook Locked in subscription price. It was lock in for another year or make the switch. I’ve put it off for two years so far, but I just couldn’t justify the cost this time.

A technical question. What does Davinci Resolve use that Adobe is not, and makes Resolve seemingly a lot faster. For stabilization.

Perhaps the question is what Adobe has that Davinci doesn't - a boat load of DEI hires thinking what flowers would make the most beautiful butterfly.

@@reeteshrajput7 Shame. Its not that important. I was just hoping for a quick reply if someone knows. Resolve is much faster, so I was just curious what is the difference in the technology they use.

@@KrunoslavStifter Well I haven't given much time to resolve but premiere works super fine on my macbook pro m2 max 16 inch. I think it's more about your system and also it's about the things you are doing. for basic 4k editing premiere works really well for me. Have you used the most recent update from premiere? stablizations works pretty good or alternatively you can use after effects for stablization.

@@reeteshrajput7 I am no longer Adobe user, but keep track of the development from time to time. And whatever your speed is if you compare stabilization or tracking in resolve its a lot faster, and has been for a long long time, so there is clearly something software related not hardware. I was curious about technical explanation behind the difference. What is wrong with Adobe?
