And big ups to the production crew, aside from the announcing, this was a top-notch job camera and editing wise, graphics. Way to go. And, the announcing wasn't horrible, just, you know, there's like two guys in the world who can announce a race like this well... Educated track stans don't even need the announcing, lol

16 maybe. Steve Cram ran 3.29.67 then 3.46.3 mile a few days later. The mile wasn't an even race. He probably would have done 3.45 mile with an even pace. Steve Ovett ran 3.32.2 1500m then 3.48 mile a few days later then a 3.31.2 a few days later. 1980.

Ryun ran 3:33.1 on cinders 54 years ago (with a 60 second first 400!) so maybe the sport hasn't progressed as much as some of us sometimes think! Great run by Josh Kerr anyhow. The Brit 1500 team in Tokyo will be really strong. Could easily get a medal. Kerr isn't necessarily going in there as our number 1!
