The grainy problem at 9:26 is because of your HDR ghosting removal settings. Turn it off and it fixes this problem! I had same issues

Thank you! My camera gear is: Sony Aiv, Sony 16-35 mm f/4 and Sony 50 f/1.8. I use CPL filter for my wide shots to control the wash out floors ☺️

This has been sooo much help!! Thanks Zalle!! One thing - I have been having issues transferring the image to edit in photoshop.. The photo in photoshop does not transfer the settings from Lightroom. Do you have a solution for this???

Glad to hear that!! You have your export the file as a jpg or something that’s not a hdr file when you work with that file in Lightroom is still a special hdr file until the export.

Hi Zalle, thanks for the video! I have tried this new HDR button recently and I thought that I just don't understand something but it seems that you also export in SDR Display mode because it looked weird otherwise. This feature is really useful for clearing windows automatically without using a brush. Honestly, I thought it is a preview feature or smth for SDR screens. I also wonder why you don't merge photos into one HDR photo and instead, you just edit a stack of photos?

Hi there! Hope the video it’s been a little helpful for you. As you say it’s a preview for SDR display with the HDR mode and that’s what we want to see when we edit aswell as we export the files. The images I’m working on are brackets of 5 and they are merge into 1 hdr file as you can see it’s say 6 in the stacks. So I’m working on the hdr file ☺️

@@zallewoxvall thanks for your reply. The video is helpful indeed. Regarding brackets of 5, I also do stacking of 5 brackets but before editing, I also select them and press - Merge into HDR, and 5 stacks become a whole single photo. Yours is different.

How do you export them? On Lightroom HDR my result is awesome then when I export them in jpeg or hd jpeg I don't see what I edited.

Make sure that you toggle the sdr display rendition on, when you export don’t export as an HDR file.

@@zallewoxvallthe whole point of this is to export an hdr file. What you’re doing doesn’t require the hdr workspace at all.

@@aaroncollins5188 well it actually does. This functions was made for HDR file but it still works without exporting HDR files. That’s why they have the SDR rendition functions. So you can se what you are editing for non HDR file and monitors.
