Great video Jeff. My Pop ( granddad) always said Grease is cheaper than pins . part of the daily manitence on our Equipment was Greasing the Dozers, Excavator, Loader, Roller & Tractor & Dirt pan. & we greased the dump trucks & Lowboy about every week to two weeks . Mack

Southern California primitive concrete specs/ratings... Slurry, sand/water/cement. More powder =easier to pump, we go from 1 sack to alot! Fill in pipes, fill behind lagging board, cheap fill. Peagravel mixes, so cal minimum 2500psi, goes up to 5000psi or more. Most common for generic purposes due to easy placement (we are confines in socal!) and we use for Grout, slab and footing work. Generally durable with proper prep work and joint work (slab). Add fibermesh for durability/shrinkage control. Easier for pumping, small line, 2inch if low stress or 2.5. Use ball valve pumps. 1"rock. Easy explanation, more durable less shrinkage, easier PSI, less expensive..3" line minimum. We use for substantial pours, city work and state work specially. Use accordingly... figure you're stone size times 4 to get line size. Know your mix designs!!!

Ya need to come up with a cheep check valve that will tap into the top of the cap on the far end. Somethin you can just screw in and leave, it'll let water/grout out but not let it suck back when you take hose off the other end. Maybe one on both ends, but pump end would hafta be as big as the Pipe your pumping.

If we are worried about the grout coming back out we usually put a valve on the end we pump from. And an elbow pointing up at the opposite end. Works great

What advice would you give to me I’m a 17 year old kid who just discovered concrete pumping and I’m super interested in doing it as a career. And one day want to own my own company that pumps concrete etc.

Definitely going to be contacting all utility companies in my area. If they are doing that around here, they would have to be calling a boom and line pumping it. There really is no other way to fill something like that and know for sure it’s completely full.
