My friend and I both US senior citizens got a ticket discount for the train, we visited 6 cities in 2 weeks vacation and had a fantastic time, we even had young Spaniards ( without us asking) helping us with our luggage in and out of trains and buses.

Crazy running into your channel! I work in Carlsbad, live in Vista. I’ll be in Valencia in three weeks from now. Aug 6th. Very helpful video getting from Madrid to Valencia. Catching a Valencia soccer game that night. P.s. Growing up I used take the Amtrak from Oceanside to LA Union station. Great memories

Wonderful video! I liked the jazzy music touch for the cafetreria, always great editing in your videos :) I love train stations, my favorite one is the central station in Antwerp where I used to live- have you seen it? Also huge, airy, lots of light, but it's definitely missing a botanical garden! I'll finally be in Valencia in just two weeks- I'm so excited to check out all the things I've dicovered through your videos and more :)

I really love taking the train but sometimes the Valencia-Madrid route doesn't quite make sense to me. It takes an hour to drive from our home near Gandia to Valencia, then we have to park and have a few minutes to catch the train and the train itself is an hour and a half. Add it up and it takes a bit less than three hours. Driving takes four hours and generally costs less with two or more people. Having said that we're taking the train to Madrid in July for a couple days and to see Pink Martini, a favorite musical group of ours. When staying in the city it's more convenient to use public transportation rather than driving.
@ANTOANETTA2 жыл бұрын
Oh cool Pink Martini 👍🏼 yes in the cities I definitely prefer waking or transportation. Thanks for watching

My husband and I love your videos, all of them 👏🎈♥️, especially about Valencia center and Russafa . Now after watching this one we are thinking maybe instead of flying from Boston to Valencia with long layover ( which we usually do ) we should take direct flight to Madrid and just take the train. Thank you for very useful information you give in your videos . Do you happen to know how often this particular train ( so fast !! )Madrid - Valencia runs ? ( maybe even video of showing how and where to order tickets 😛) THANK YOU 🙏🏼🌹💓

@carminalopez58522 жыл бұрын
Sabías que en el tren de alta velocidad , hay un vagón del silencio ? No niños no música no ruido ni conversaciones altas etc. Para que puedas ir relajado o durmiendo o trabajando.
@kabieces2 жыл бұрын

At 7:30 - if you're arriving...into Valencia? or Madrid? She's in Valencia now so I don't know what she's referring to. Also, she says you have to take Renfe, which I googled and it's the train, but she also calls it Ave so is it a different train and why do you need to take it? It's very confusing. Also she mentions a website but doesn't link it. More organization of content would be helpful for someone using this video for guidance.
@polymath9965 Жыл бұрын
She is referring to arrivals at the Madrid airport. It’s a hassle to take the train from the airport to the Atocha train station vs a taxi.

Hola Antoanetta, I love Spain and plan to visit this fall. Will be going to Valencia and which barrio would you recommend for hotel or Air BnB???? Antoanetta, you must be Romanian by your name and accent (cool country by the way), but what I find so funny is Americans freaking out with, in many cases, their first time ever on a train. It’s also not understandable that a developed country like the US hasn’t built a proper high-speed train net yet, given how flat a big part of the US is, compared to Europe and Spain in particular. Hope this changes soon.
