I don’t get the hate of MSG. The “journalist” that made the story about it admitted it was a joke and not true, but somehow it stuck. I use MSG in many things at home, but it’s critical for Chinese food, or it just doesn’t taste right. It’s great in lasagne, it brings out the tomato and beef flavours nicely.

Saved this to my FOOD playlist, never heard of Joshua Weissman but I know you & your mum have taught me how to make awesome fried rice. Now have spring onions growing out back to have them on hand and raw prawns in the freezer. I do $1 chicken kebabs in the oven (20 mins), chop them up and add them just as fried rice is ready. 💞It's Magic !!💞

I need to calm down with the egg mix. You just add salt & msg, and I've been adding those plus black pepper, white pepper and sometimes a herb or two and a bit of heat. Simple is better. I get it.

Good video but Using the same hand, even if wearing a glove or utensils to handle raw chicken and then touch other raw foods like prawns can potentially lead to cross-contamination and increase the risk of foodborne illnesses. I know it’s just a video but safety should always be first, especially when trying to teach people how to cook.

As someone with a lv 4 in food health and safety (chefs only need lv 2), i used one glove for raw meat/ the seas food and then changed it for veg, which then you can use to then cook with, cross-contamination only matters if if your not cooking, all the ingredients straight away, I followed proper protocol, this is just a pointless and pedantic comment
