I'm going to compare my numbers to the 10900k (in the tower) and see the difference. I had to RMA my 3090, but I can confirm that the glue removal trick does work. I piggybacked my shunt resistors and had a Waterblock on my gpu. Asus replaced it with no questions asked. I'm at 4.8ghz (all core) with 3800c14 vipers. I can boot 4.9, but my system crashes when I launch a game. I have liquid metal but I'm scared to use it. That build is impressive 👏.

Gorgeous build. Love these focused, purpose built setups. How are the VRM temps on that ITX board when things are pushed that far? If I remember that little guy uses an 8 phase 90A smart power stages so I'd imagine things are well within spec, just curious.

I have this case on air cooled but... My old Cooler master haf 932 is wayyyyyyy cooler 2010-2022 Still a monster and it cools down my gpu and cpu so much better than the case you are showing in this video. What case manufacturers don’t make anymore is cases with side panel fan. Very rare to see one. Although I prefer to have side fans and get much better cooling specially while gaming.

What's the longterm maintenance like with that translucent red coolant? I've always used clear just to be safe and to avoid potential problems. I imagine it's not as bad as opaque coolants are, looks great with it though!

I m curious did you check the paste on the kp waterblock, I purchased the aio version paste was completely dry and I just my hydrocopper and it came with pre applied paste on the block and it also was rock hard dry. Check out the optimus pc kp waterblock it's pretty sick it has an active backplate, couldn't help myself I purchased one.

For people reading this, be careful! The RAM kit listed is a 4x8 kit, and the Z590i Unify is a 2 dimm'er (daisy chain topology). So don't just blindly buy off this list! Also I would definitely avoid the Z590i Unify, unless you are prepared to spend ages getting it stable. Z490 Apex is a much better choice for almost everyone, as it is super easy to overclock and get stable.

If you already have z490i it’s not worth you wouldn’t get any fps gains from swapping mobos, for best performance get any b die kit, to get the best performance yoh would need to manually tune the timings

Im not an expert but intel benefits more from raw speed rather than timings, try to get around 4000-4400mhz on the ram at c16-18 and compare, also, tweak the Subtimings

@@tally3105 Wrong. AlderLake will pass the best 10900k build in 3 months. Enjoy being stuck on PCIE 3.0 when RDNA 3 launches in 1 year, and don't forget DirectStorage coming soon. Jufes is dead wrong for calling the 10900k a 10 year chip- it will be heavily gimped in less than 2 thanks to being on PCIE 3.0. you won't get anywhere near full performance when you want to do a gpu upgrade and you won't have nvme ssd speeds fast enough for the massive open world/ mmo games coming with DirectStorage for faster loading and on the fly. game world streaming in/out, those will be coming in 2022. Intel intentionally screwed us by putting the 10900k on pcie 3.0 otherwise ya it could have lasted from 2020 to damn neat 2030
