there are a ton of overclocking guides out there, if anything there are to many. they are good enough to get you within 95% of your pcs capability all the little things you mentioned probably only matter in synthetic benchmarks. love the videos though :) most people arent as hardcore with overclocking as you. they just want 5ghz on there what ever cpu and xmp enabled

Yeah I have an x570 Asus mobo and the cl19 4400 vipers X4 dimms need to be manually tuned since XMP simply doesn't work. But CL13 3600 is pretty sweet.

If you have 4000 cl 15 g skill, that will perform better than the vipers. The 4000 cl 15 is really good. I had 4x8 and was able to get 36ns on z490 formula. The latency on Asus boards is really good if you know how to tune iol properly

@@bastordd asus so far from my experience is the best for latency. Most people don’t realize that. I had 4000 cl 15 4x8 and was able to get 36ns on 4 sticks on a z490 formula board. Asus is one of the best for ram overclocking, I know he says otherwise

Sometimes just pressing esc to go to the menu and then press it again to leve the menu will reset your fps

If you’re smart you’ll still click on the video to learn….. there’s information that no one talks about & I had to figure it the same way you had to figure out everything you know. Took 5 years to get my pc running the way it is now. with a gaming console all you do is have to play. with a pc, you have to tune it until you’re satisfied. pc gaming is not for the faint lol

Same like this season 5, it gets worse after every update 9700k rtx 3080. Thinking of upgrading to 16gb 4000mhz or 32gb, F4-4000C16D-16GTZN is suported on the qvl list of gskill website of my z390 ultra board. But the 32gb variant of that ram 2x16gb isn't in the qvl my board?

People just need to explore their own bios if they care. Put in some effort. Overclocking isn't hard. But it is time consuming your first time. There's no substitute for trial and error. Spend the effort to LEARN how to do it.

The question is are you RAM limited??? If so yes get more RAM. Unless you need a portable PC or don't have much space look into a proper desktop PC, laptop parts compaired to custom desktop PC parts are way more expensive and perform worse and run really hot due to the compact form factor.

@@Onegamex then yes if 16 GB total is not enough get 32GB 2 x16 GB of the fastest RAM your system supports. It may or may not improve fps but your system will fell smoother especially if you have a lot of apps running in the background or preinstalled bloatware from the laptop OEM

@@Onegamex you could also try windows debloat scrpits to free up RAM before upgrading your system RAM, didn't do anything on my main rig but on weaker hardware it helped heaps with the load windows 10 uses, this is the one I use worked great for me, if you don't know what settings to use just select essential tweaks, freed up quite a bit of RAM and have less processes running in the background. kzbin.info/www/bejne/qIHJq3mKbLCka6M
