I hope your friend in hospital is doing ok, sometimes they don't want or need you to say anything really, my friend just like having company listening to mundane things about what I was doing just to feel a sense of normalcy and to take their mind off of their situation for an hour or two. You visiting is a good thing regardless of the conversations. I hope all is well. xx

Louis, it must really suck to have a friend who is sick and to feel so helpless. Just to let you know, you help people more than you realize. I see a comment on your videos almost every day by someone who is sick and tells you how you've totally made their day, simply by living your fantastic life. Take heart, mate. :)

I understand that helpless feeling when wanting to help someone. I took care of someone with cancer. They were going to die and there was nothing I could do or say to make that any less of a reality. I just tried to keep life positive and help as much as I could.

YES LOUIS! Scooter Cafe! It's so good! I used to think it was just called Bar cos of the sign... Oh well. They also own a place on Brixton Road called Cable and it's awesome! Really recommend it cos they have live music on Tuesday nights!

The best advice that I can give you for when your friends are in trouble in anyway and there's not much you can do to help is to just be there for them! Tell them that you care and you are there for them. Try telling them this as much as possible!

I am sure that going to visit your friend will make a difference in the long run. Even if she can't express that or cannot feel that right now. Looking back she will and it will help her move forward. So many people don't bother/ disappear completely in that situation and that is a hard thing to live with if you are the one who has been left behind bars/chicken you couldn't keep up. Keep going, send postcards when you travel, don't be afraid to ask community organizations for ideas how to help.
