Bro! Falcon Paladin, my brotha... Nooooo! Lol 14:08 !!! Lol How can you not mention when he took out Flash's main Command Center??? ESPECIALLY how close it was to being saved. The Reavers only had to hit it one more time, but Flash's tanks killed them; however the splash damage from the tanks killing the Reavers actually ended up also delivering the final blow to his own main Command Center. In fastest map that's like the biggest hinderance you can do to someone lol.

13:58 This was a pretty big deal because in Fastest your CC is placed next to the minerals for fast mining, and when it gets destroyed you can never rebuild it on that same spot. So having that happen massively reduces your mining rate. But Flash is just too good, and up to that point his macro was super on point, and he had just enough to put together a good push with good upgrades and reinforce it.

I saw an interview from a couple years ago and the translation said purple was flash “lucky” color. Not sure you can completely trust the translations in interviews because sometimes a lot gets lost in translation

in the end, the protoss lost the game with an abundance of resources that could have been used to upgrade the tech-tree. I guess that would be some reason for him to lose the game..... if I were the protoss, I would upgrade the science tree to maneuver the arbiter to do the massive airdrop through Recall.

flash ended the game with 350 gas. insane resource management.

4 Main issues, he had way more zealots than marines at the start = cannon push 2. weak upgrades. 3. He could of easily had HT's on the ledge, it's a very small choke in front of your base. These HT's would of wrecked havoc on the small entrance point. He also had one SV at the time, so could not take away all the HT's energy. I love the idea of dropping, but use HT's way easier to do damage, also you can drop like 15 Zealots and simply drop 3-4 HT's .. The Zealots take tank fire while the HT's storm all the SUV's. Good game though overall. Just a few critical mistakes as I mentioned.

most of pro terrans at FME uses bio against Protoss drops, but Flash is Flash and just crushing opponents with tons of mech, even if he lost main base and his income is way slower than his rival ;)

Still the mech 3-3 upgrade timing push for terran is unstoppable might as well he did go for Corsair web + carrier and Templar + arbiter for anti tank goliath push just avoid emp :D

No storm, arbiter or carrier transition cost 458 big time. Could have played defensive after taking out Flashes main and edged him out but made a huge mistake pushing in at Flashes choke.

He got the main which put him way ahead in the long run economically. He didn't switch over to just macro well enough after that. Corsair disruption webs, no stasis fields, no storms, no carriers, and 1/1 upgrades. Got the date to dinner but couldn't get them to come home for the real fun.

Looks like 458 had too many probes. He was banking tons of resources but was maxed on supply. Should have destroyed a dozen probes at least.

I like single game videos. I don't care about the length. If there is a 3 our of 5 match then I still would prefer the match be broken down into single games and labeled 1/5, 2/5, 3/5 etc. This way I can watch what I can when I have time and you get more views. I have been playing StarCraft since the beginning. I played Warcraft II before that. I didn't upgrade to WOW or SC2. I just play the old stuff. Why does flash build bunkers to bottle up flash and screen the tanks? What no defensive matrix? I still would build bunkers one in front of the other. This is not a blitzkrieg. It is a slugging match. I would also drop tanks and goliaths on top of the walls. I am surprised flash won.

You are correct. I think their overal record is about 60% win for 458. 458 got cocky after taking that command center, and didn't expect that counter. Also that zealot pull onto the turrets instead of going for the goliaths took away a huge oppertunity to seal the game. 458 doesn't often do the 3gate start. It is considered one of the lesser openings because zealot pressure into top level marine micro never really works out. It then delays the tech options to a point where the terran can more easily fight drops.
