The standard is 300 ft I believe. With the top fuel cars going 170+ it's a handful on the dirt. 1/8 mile would be pushing it I think, 1/4 mile would be suicide, but im curious to know the reasons behind the short track myself......

@@BustedKnuckleVideo Impractical & unsafe. Look at the surface these 'things' have to drive on. A 1/4 mile track would generate speeds that would bounce the drivers over any safety barrier. Besides the speed, look at the tires, tall sidewalls that react & wouldn't give the suspension & shocks a chance to work. Even an 1/8 mile track would be dangerous w/ these 'things'. Maybe a 1/16 mile track, that's 330 ft. What's the distance they're running now? I didn't read or hear anything; maybe 150ft.?

It's possible. Here in WV they do mud runs during our county fair every year. You might want to check counties close buy.

there was a race team in the 80 s and 90 s know as the wright brother s raacing they had to very fast car s a buddy jeep named jeep zilla an an x class car name X-rated they went all over just winning everything went to puerto rico an dominated only reason i know this is they lived next door to me an i would run over everytime they fired them up
