If people were still wondering about wearing gloves vs bare hands I was a manager at McDonald's. In our food safety course they teach us it is actually a lot more sanitary for people to just wash their hands without using gloves. This is because employees tend to keep their gloves on until they rip, rather than changing them when they actually need to be changed.

Jared Adams I know this is months later but as a former McDonald's employee there just wasnt time to wear gloves, especially when working the grill. When working the fryer there's definitely tome but on grill you have (when I worked there) 3-5 different products all coming up at the same time and when you pick one up you usually had 2 other trays to fill on top of the ones you are already filling. You get what you pay for.

For the people asking about gloves while handling food. We are handling raw food that still requires to be baked in an oven. Which is usually set pretty close to 500 degrees. We can also feel more in the dough while stretching it out. Like small uneven spots which I can then adjust the amount of pressure and stretch to even it out... Something we can't feel with gloves on.

I was a Domino manager a long time ago in the United States and we held contests but, the pizzas had to look better and be the correct weight in proportions. Hell, any Domino's pizza slinger can make a half ass pizza like this quickly. Our test was to make a 16 inch pepperoni with the right amount in cheese and the right number of pepperoni slices. My best was 38 seconds. I wanted a pizza that our customers would actually enjoy eating. If you noticed the sauce was too thick in places and too thin in others , the same with the cheese, and the pepperoni was not spread out at all.

There’s going fast and doing it correctly. 1. Make sure the crust is even all around. 2. Make sure the cheese is even, especially up to the crust. When you notice that the cheese at the crush is showing tomato sauce you messed up. 3. The toppings, they need to be symmetrical. (Reason for this, is that if you got a pepperoni pizza it should taste like a pepperoni pizza in ever bite)

This guy is slow Back in 2000 while in high school, the group I worked with busted the company record for pies made in 1 hour, and it was like 404 pizzas. This was back when Domino's had two for Tuesdays and if you didn't receive your pizza in 30 mins or less, it's free. We used to be able to make a pizza and have it in the oven in under a min. One guy slapping pies, one guy sauce and cheese and start some toppings then the last guy finishes it and throws it in the oven Last guy also had to run and grab extra dough or anything else needed from the walk in It was easily my favorite job. Edit: LOL and this was Domino's in Jacksonville FL. I wonder if they still have the thing up inside the store
