The Regera on the other hand, looking at it since the first time, always felt like looking at a piece of art. To me it is one of the most beautiful cars, i have seen. 2:43 I’m watching this with subtitles and I haven’t quite finished the episode, but this Agera RS actually came with 1340 hp, instead of 1160 hp, as part of the RS’s 1MW option which swaps in the One:1 tested engine
@sehajkaler92852 жыл бұрын
And Bugatti didn’t take back the production car record, it was a pre-production prototype, so it’ll differ from the production models (maybe it’s just missing some mirrors, who knows. But until the mirrors have been added, and a customer’s car has been tested, it’s not a production car record). It’s just a stunt, nothing more, maybe even less. Currently the SSC Tuatara has the production car record, but we don’t really talk about it because of its controversy (and it barely beat out the Agera RS’s 277.9 at 282.9 mph with 30% more hp; 1750 hp total)
@Amarjit_Singh2 жыл бұрын
@@sehajkaler9285 Small corrections, the 1MW update bumped the power to 1360hp or 1360PS or 1341bhp. The SSC Tuatara's record might not be considered for production cars now because SSC afaik weren't able to manufacture the minimum number of units required for production car eligibility within a time period of 1 year starting from the day of the record which was in January 2021.
@sehajkaler92852 жыл бұрын
@@Amarjit_Singh ah, I was not aware of that for the SSC Tuatara, thank you! Then I guess the Agera still reigns! Hp is a weird measurement because you can present it with mechanical losses or without losses (hp vs bhp, and I don’t know which is which. Though I guess manufacturers will cite the highest number they get). And, 1 metric horsepower, or PS, is like 0.986 mechanical horsepower, so I don’t know which one we refer as hp. I guess PS would be the best measurement to settle with, so yeah 1360 PS

I am more amazed at how they build their own motors. They do not make a ton of cars either. Despite the cars being limited production cars I have never heard of them having issues. Ferrari, Lambo and Mclaren would be in trouble if these guys started building cars in the 200K-400K price range.
