I've tried everything, and the least harmful method for your psyche is Infernal Walker in COOP. Just make sure to bring Hailey with 12K+ HP to the fight. Supporting characters only prolong that fight.

I Viessa solo infernal walker, 5 minutes, around 3200. Plus you get quantum incubators in a much larger number than in void vessel missions, which you also need to upgrade your reactor. **EDIT - Only thing is Infernal Walker is going away I believe.

I prefer to use Ambushed Sharen for the Kingston and Gulch Void Reactors, as you simply slash the first elite with your 1, and lob your 3 at the second spawn. Having Supernova set ensures the kill with the thunderbolt in case you don't crit. Seeing as you barely need to move, it's slightly faster to start the reactor again. When you get the timing right, I get 65k quantum crystals in under 20 minutes, which equates to 100 Precise Ion Reactors. The reason I use the Gulch Void Reactor is because the second spawn, the elite warden, always spawns in the exact spot, making it easier to lob my 3. The perfect timing is to lob your 3rd skill right after the spawn marker starts to glow. When the warden lands on the ground, it dies immediately on contact with your Frangible Rounds explosion. Once you get the timing right, the Gulch reactor is just a few seconds faster than Kingston. Make sure to have a dog leveled up to at least level 15 to collect the loot at the second spawn.

thanks for the guide. Bunny Road looks like the best. About the boss, at least in solo mode, devs need to get rid of the waiting time at star and the loading the fight all over again every single time. Bunny Road at least is a non stop farming.

Because the only thing that you can craft with quantum crystals are precise ion accelerators, every one you get from infernal walker is a net 650 quantum crystals. I know that in the future this may not be the case, but at the same time, TFD has not really reused many basic materials to craft things.

thx for the spots. i did kingston yesterday for like 1 hour and i got 150k. so 20 to 25min are enough to get 65k to craft 100 of Precise Ion Accelerator. if you do it for 2 weeks it should be enough then to have a solid basis.

@fraleb527 downside is that you will literally lose your sanity doing that. I don't mind grinding, but grind has to be fun. When it's mind numbing, you're much more likely to drop the game instead 🤣🤣.

Kuiper mine drops might have been off because the weekly rewards were processors so it cut the reactors rate down. Also, you can do vesper lost depot reactor in 5 secs with viessa.

Excellent farm, i was running fusion reactors yesterday just to see what happens when you don't own those reconstruction devices and i noticed my shards didn't go down. I was like hmm, interesting but i was in that vespers area. Lol not ideal for farming, but always good to learn things that help reduce the grinding load. Got ultimate freyna cooking up, almost there with ult lepic, still trying to collect the main drops for Ult Viessa, Valby and Sharen. My own pace seems to keep me playing, I've been enjoying a decent Valby build in all kinds of content, what a team star this one is with supply moisture. Any word on when that transfer base descendent upgrades to the ultimate versions, so much dumped resources into them, tossing them for a pittance is demoralizing. I always felt like ultimate versions should have been an alternate version of the same character that you can swap between, being whole extra characters seems counterproductive as only transcendent mods exclusivity and starting polarity slot count makes them perform differently at first use. I think they should change this wasteful setup as the game gains more descendents or is going to be clutter city. I'd really like both version to be useful, but what can you do? Perhaps ultimate should be setup to be a transformation you can invoke which can have identical setup or its own mod and weapon loadout, that you can call in at your own discretion. Like a power up, but it has a shift meter once you use it, that can be charged by taking out vulgus or doing damage to end mission bosses. I mean make ultimate forms actually pack a punch and feel impactful without making the base character seem completely useless. Since they both are identical in form, then for the transformation either direction you gain for a short time boosted reactor performance, and each descendent with have one exclusive boost and the rest can be configured on the seasonal ache boosters. Dunno, I'm just one of those think too much type of players. Lol. Great video!

I have always wondered why there are no boosts for materials like warframe. Warframe gives you double the rewards instead of 30%. I think these reactor upgrades cost way too much material to make.

I just use Real Matte Black for the main parts and you can choose any shiny silver colour for her trimmings. For her clothing any colour will be suitable. I chose the baby pink as it works well with the silver highlights, but you can do w/e you want really.

Do the Infernal Walker numbers include reset time? For the boss you have more time than just the fight. You need to factor in load in, pre fight delay, reward collection and restart time.

@greengiant_6652 that is mentioned in the infernal walker segment, but if we really broke it down, we would have to cover the free ion Accelerators we get and the savings from not having to farm incubators. So to simplify the model, I removed unnecessary factors. That said, as I mentioned in the video, load times are about 30 to 40 seconds depending on your console or PC. But infernal walker is also the most "fun" to do without losing your sanity

Yep. The initial wait, collection and reload times add about 25/30 seconds to the completion time shown at the end of the battle. Not sure why Agna Desert/Storage reactor never gets tested. It has 4 bosses and takes about 17 to 20 sec using Freyna (haven't tried with anyone else). With the added reactor drops you can get close to 4000 crystals every four runs which can then be immediately restarted.

@RealAsianRobot Have you tested Echo Swamp Hard mode Arche Motion Sensor defense mission for quant crystal drop rate?? Anyway, Nexon always gimps something critical. Waiting for the next rebalance when quantum crystals get a better return rate, and something else becomes the new PITA farm.

How fast can it be completed, because I've never heard of that mission even being relevant. You can try it yourself, but for dismantles, nothing beats bunny road. For dismantles to be efficient you would need a mission that clears in under 30 seconds BUT gives an insane amount of drops.

@RealAsianRobot did my own testing and math. It's an oof. Only about a 1000 crystal per minute. Ah well. It's a new place to farm specific element reactors. Very small area of spawn locations so easy pickups.

Are you calculating the 50 sec to 1 min dead period for inferanl walker? it takes 5 to 10 secs load screen (depending on the pc or console person is on to get into fight) 27 seconds to be able to attack him and after you kill him it takes 13 sec to get to another load screen that can take another 5 to 10 second

@prohitman1942 no, I did not factor that for the same reason I did not factor the precise ion accelerator drops. It overcomplicates the model. That said, total "downtime" is roughly 30 to 40 seconds. So it may come out slightly slower than the fusion reactor once you even it out with the extra drops you get and the overall time consumed but it's also a lot more fun than the fusion reactor spam.

@politicllyncurrect we did not test it specifically during the stream. I did not consider it because it generally doesn't work well as one of my farms. However, you can run a quick test yourself versus my Bunny Road results. If you can clear Anticipated Ambush in w/e timing, just record how long it takes and check how much quantum crystals you gained from 1 run. Example: If you gained 2000 crystals from a 30 second run (0.5 minutes), then effectively you can gain 4000 crystals per minute. After you check how many crystals you get per minute, just compare it to the Bunny road average of about 2.2k. If you can get more than 2.2k crystals per minute, then Anticipated Ambush point could be faster for you. Let me know if you find it faster.

I just bring Hailey for lazy farming void fusion reactors with two mobs. it takes me less than 20s per each run, no extra moves: just zenith for the first mob and storm snare for the second

Loading times are about 30 seconds, but it's still more efficient (and also more fun) than doing the fusion reactors constantly lol. Also, don't forget the other direct drops you get. It's why I mentioned it in the video that you are compensated additionally for the loading time in other ways. As for the replacement. The defiler is likely to have the same or similar drops. I also intend to fully protest the replacement as vaulting content right now is silly when we don't even have enough content in the game.

@@RealAsianRobot yeah it's silly to replace IW. the new guy is going to be poison (immune to cold) and possibly have unavoidable mechanics. so bye to hailey and viessa farming. they need to do something about the drops for reactor upgrades and implants. even with your "super fast" farming method it will still take ~100 runs of IW to upgrade one reactor. I blew my wad early on when implants first came out and I lost ~1000 hours of resource drops adding weapon types on my good reactors.
