Fastest Rolex Model Rising In Price?? - Steel Daytona Ceramic Prices Soar!!

With the market raging right now, it seems to me that the Rolex Daytona Ceramic in steel is that one watch that never seems to hit the ceiling. It almost feels that not long ago they were going for $24,000 and now with prices reaching $40,000 one has to think! Will his watch reach $50k!? Seems to me that this could be the next Patek 5980 which prices are over $100,000.
It will be interesting to see what happens with the market in months to come.

What Eric says always ends up setting a trend. I follow a lot of watch channels etc and they all do their thing but when Eric speaks on certain things it literally starts a feeding frenzy. Just been checking the prices of this watch here in Europe on Chrono24. They are at 30,000 euros and up which is $36k plus. So that seems madness to me even though I love that watch. However the sleeper has to be the 116503 two tone with white dial which you can get for £16k brand new here in UK. They are available right now on ebay uk. To me they are beautiful with that white dial and some gold contrast. I would personally swap the bracelet for something a little calmer but hey they must go up in value.

I totally LOVE that white dial ceramic Daytona way better than the black dial. To me it’s subtle but yet very sophisticated. And the rose gold meteorite dial is hot too. Just out of shits and giggles I’m going to reach out to my AD and see if they have any white dial Daytona and if not can he get me one. I’m a holder so to be honest you really couldn’t offer me that much to sell it. All my time pieces are special to me all bought for special accomplishments I made in life. So in that token they’re priceless lol.

1) inflation 2) The brand introduced 3 additional versions (meteorite dials) while discontinuing 0 Daytona models. There’s only so much Daytona capacity at Rolex so it makes all versions even more scarce IMO.

Had to put me two cents in. Bought my 116518 panda from An AD in 2017. It stayed in the AD'S case for months. 2016 with Stickers. I loved the watch and Made an offer $19k out the door. The used rolex market is 99% hype from the internet. Hands down, these things have become trading items like stocks, bitcoins or whatever. Nobody is wearing these things, they are just passing around a hot potato until someone gets hammered in the end on it. There is no fundamentals behind this. There are as good, or better watches from other brands, that you can get at a discount.
