Perhaps it has to do with lying in your title, and pretending videos of plays that rank as the 400th fastest(13 or 14 seconds in) in NFL HISTORY are the fastest, when they were really just partially pertinent films from the most RECENT part of history that were convenient for you to find, mostly because the half of history when MOST of the fastest scores took place(due to less preparation and specialists) were not even available since there was no film.
@nonenone59766 жыл бұрын
MOSTLY because through the first half of history, when MOST the fastest scores took place, there was little or no film of it, but ALSO because you were too lazy to even find much faster scores than these from Even Just 30 or 40 years ago when there Was film of all of them. Just keep posting videos of common crap from the last 20 years and call it the best of all of history, right? Smh moron

On September 30th 1984, the NY Giants kicked off to open the game against the LA Rams. The ball bounced into the end zone untouched, and was recovered by Phil McConkey of the Giants for a TD. Since the clock does not start on a kick off until the ball is touched, the score officially is recorded at 15:00, making this the fastest TD in NFL history at 0:00 seconds. Somehow you guys missed this, but that’s ok, we Giant fans remember...

There was a Falcons/Rams game around 1999-2001 where 1 team returned the opening kickoff then the other team returned the very next kickoff. 14 points were scored in less than 30 seconds. That game should definitely be in this video. I know the 2nd return wouldn't fall in the 1st 15 seconds but still. I can't ever remember seeing back 2 back opening kickoff returns.

WOW! So many of these involved the Vikings.Back in 1970, the Cowboys and Browns played a week 13 game in Cleveland in the rain and mud. On the opening kickoff, Bob Hayes of the Cowboys mishandled the ball and it got past him into the end zone. Hayes tried to run it out, but got trapped for safety. For the longest time, the score of that game was 2-0 Browns. The Cowboys eventually kicked two field goals and won 6-2. Another unique play in that game occurred when Browns kicker Don Cockroft tried an 8 yard field goal. (Yes, 8 yards, this was before the goal post were moved back) Cockroft's kick actually sailed under the crossbar on its way up because he was too close. If the kick had been from 5 yards further back, the kick would have been over the crossbar and therefore would have been good.

6:30 this is the fastest score in NFL history, the reciever of the kickoff got the ball before it entered the endzone, and kneed in the endzone. The Titans inadvertantly caused a safety after 1 second had elapsed.

Although mostly a kickoff montage, the possibility of these outcomes is why the NFL should keep it in the game.

It’s always entertaining to watch the kicker run alongside the returner and then make a lame tackle attempt. 🤣

How come there's no plays from the 1970's, 80's, 90's...?

Chris Ghanbari hard to find good quality clips from back then
@savagebricksports16 жыл бұрын
Because there's no scoreboard so you can't see the time in which they scored edit: also because there's no records so all research must be "go through every game and see if there's a play that fits", which really quite sucks
@eddlicious_20996 жыл бұрын
Savage Brick Sports but you could get a clip and time it from the start of the kickoff

Oh gotcha. So not in history. The 90's were epic. Love your videos though. Great job

The best one by far is the Cowboys return of the onside kick for a TD. I want that to happen more in the NFL.

Given the Stage and the pressure, 2006 (SB XLI) - Devin Hester 92-yard KO return was the best. The Colts never kicked his way the rest of the night.
