To answer the question about why not buy the cfexpress A cards. For a lot of people, they're just too expensive. Even compared to a very high-end sd card. And it's just to unlock 2 or 3 specific shooting modes. Don't get be wrong, I have one and wouldn't suggest not getting one. But I understand not wanting to spend that k8nd of money on faster storage.

They were cost-prohibitive at first but the price has come down. For the top-quality 4K and 8K video settings, they create a reliable experience and importing the video to my Mac seems much faster too! For lesser resolutions and photos, an SD card will typically suffice though.
