While I'd like to support what you said, I seriously doubt the majority of the minecraft userbase will ever install anything outside of the base vanilla game. Unless Ilmango makes the block by block tutorials himself, people will continue to be scammy and steal his designs for their own tutorials.

Personally dont like schemetica type mods are better then tutorials. In a tutorial one will generally follow the logic of the machine instead of going in layers. This makes it so you understand what you build and can use it in other contraptions. Also, schemetica type mods have so many options to cut down the effort that its getting really close to pasting in a build at the cost of the blocks. I personally wouldnt get any satisfaction out of builidng anything with those types of mods. I agree it might help with people copying him but it wont solve it, those people generally copy from mutliple YTers and that video output is something the algorithm likes.

Just so you guys know, this design still works in 1.19.2. The problem is the litematica seems to be missing a water source on one of the trapdoors inside the tnt chamber. Basically both trap doors are waterlogged Edit: Still working in 1.19.3

I'm not sure if they changed the timings that you can place down blocks by pistons getting zero ticked or what happened, but anyone building this in 1.20, in the schematic state it didn't work for me. However putting the repeater behind the observer clock that is activated with the lever to 4 ticks, an extra repeater on 2 ticks coming from the glass tower to the concrete power pushing pistons, I did so with a solid block on top of the piston closest to the glass tower then a repeater into that block on 2 ticks, and a repeater on 3 ticks coming off the observer clock into the branch off redstone for both sides that push the concrete blocks down into the blast chamber. Those 3 simple changes fixed only one block being placed in the pistons if anyone else is having that issue. Now I'm getting all 4 placed and should be able to consistently AFK it. Thank you Mango for the great design! This thing is a monster for getting concrete, only ran it for like 5-10 minutes and I have like 3 double chests full even with the added delays, thank you for putting the effort into designing these farms that are hella efficient and yet not complex to build.

Maybe a bit late to tell you but if you use tweakaroo's "fastblockplacement" and hold right click of the bottom block of the last piston area without your repeater timing it works even in 1.21.

okay so if people are wondering about paper or spigot, slight modifications required, water falls from the center pereodically so have fence gates near the bottom so it doesnt interfere with streams, rates are good, better than other designs, about 5 hopper speed but varies... you can hold down right click, or even use inventory profiles for faster placement but for best results use an autoclicker to place block every 50 ms. doesnt always place from back because of paper but still, worth it to build such a simple contraption for almost 40k/hour rates...( meaning you also have to modify the powder dispenser)

I've been catching up on your back archive, and I love trying to replicate your designs just from your quick overviews (it's like challenge mode), but sometimes I just want to build it... I'm looking forward to more videos and contraptions! (I'm even guilty of making one tips video for the TNT dupper used in a recent peaceful cobble generator -- it definitely took me about two hours to get working reliably, but once I understood it I could build it in 10 seconds lol)

Ha, and the TNT dupper is split like I imagined; now I've also noticed that instead of using a split slime block setup to start the dupping, you can also place the TNT on a piston retraction of the fully assembled slime block setup (i.e. build it as it will be once it's reassembled without the TNT, then place the TNT while a piston is trying to retract the slime blocks). Can you tell that I'm new to Minecraft? xD

Quick tip for anyone watching, another method to get the quick block placement is to use the tweakaroo mod and enable quick block placement (watch a tutorial) and then hold right click and as you are holdinG press f3 + t and let go during the Mojang logo screen for the game to constantly hold right click. The mod or the alternate keybind works but I highly recommend using the f3 + t trick if you are planning on going afk

Daaaaaamn. Best I've been able to figure out is 10,000 per hour converted on bedrock edition. Tnt doesn't drop all items on bedrock, but 10K/hour without losses is good enough for my purposes.

Great contraption, though the timing for the TNT duper seems to be off in 1.19 and the tnt will just drop down in the hole normally used for item collection, fixed it by adding a single obsidian block below the tnt dropchute (i did it 5 blocks below the obsidian platform, don't know if thats ideal, but it works. Edit: don't go higher as this will lead to tnt getting yeeted to the side of the collection platform and blowing up the walls. This also reduces the rates a bit due to the previously ignited tnt yeeting away the next one and thus no concrete blowing up every 2nd-3rd time. Rates are still way better than anything else

I was having the same problem, but I just found out how to fix it. When you started the converter, your bottom trapdoor probably blew up, and it was helping with the timing. Once you replace it, you need to waterlog it, and that should keep it from exploding anymore.

If you go to you Keyboard properties and change the Repeat Rate to the fastest setting you should be able to place blocks 30 times a second (30Hz)

1.20.2 does only work 5/8 Speed blocks dont get placed fast enough charakter starts in full speed and after 1sec he places slower, so only 5/8 lanes work

I have a problem when trying to place blocks, either with it bound to a keyboard key or by using auto clicker after the first 4 blocks I will only place 1st and sometimes the last block of concrete powder. I can't manage to adjust it to work for me. Tried in single-player as well as on a server. I need to wait for about 0.3 seconds between batches of 4 powders. Any idea how to solve this problem? In 1.19, the bottom trapdoor in the tnt duper get blown up when the first tnt explodes. This causes the following tnt to drop early, and it ends up falling into the hole at the bottom of the converter. Does anyone know a way to keep this trapdoor safe?

I dont like using duping in my worlds I would love a tnt efficient design, or a system that pushes the concrete into a big cube or series of cubes that I can mine out manually

You could just add some extra pistons to funnel it into the same spot. You can't instamine concrete though, so you'd be limited by your mining speed. Considering you need two people for it anyway (if you wanna mine it directly instead of putting it in a cube), you could just use a friend or Carpet mod to place blocks that you then mine.

I've recently built this in 1.19.3. It works great now but when I was building the duper the TNT was exploding every time I tried to place it. The way I fixed it was turning the machine on first, then placing the TNT right when the slime and coral fan are closing back towards the obsidian. After that when I turn it off the TNT stays in place.

I FINALLY FIXED IT! The troubleshooting fix is as explained, its a bit finicky, so you might need a stack of tnt to try until the tnt stays and starts duping

I'm having trouble with the piston feed tape. Only the right side is functioning properly, the left side is only pushing the most front one to the other side. Is it a timing issue (like repeaters) or has it something to do with my placement speed (I have rebound my placement key)? The version I'm currently using is 1.20.1. Does anyone have an idea?

built this in my server (1.17 pre) and there's a problem where concrete powder is only placed in the first and fourth blocks. I tried with an autoclicker too, still doesn't fill in all four blocks. guessing this is a server side issue? anyone else get this
