That worked perfectly. I was sceptical at first whether this was serious. But the animation even took the ik root into account. This means that the animation can stand on an edge with one foot and it still works. Many thanks for the great tool

I tried doing this with two animations: "Cross Punch" and "Head Hit" from Mixamo. They both had some weird rotation jittering on certain frames after I imported. I used the Manny mannequin. All my import settings matched yours as far as I can tell. Not sure what the problem is.

Found out the solution by reading a comment on the Terribilis channel. If anyone reading this experiences the jittering I described, try setting "Keyframe Reduction" to "None" instead of "Uniform" when downloading the animation from Mixamo. That fixed it for me. Besides this issue, your tutorial was good and conveniently fast so thank you.

Love the format! tysm! A little concerned with the download from Terribilis though, after clicking the download button, it failed and I got an error pertaining to a different drive.. Idk why downloading a file named mixamo-converter.zip to drive E would give me an error about a weirdly named, non-existant zip file in a specific folder on my D drive. I tried again with a different browser, got it, and it worked for me. Ty again!

I have a problem. Whenever i try to download any character from Maximo it starts downloading some random file with no icon and a weird name like "Ch06_nonPBR.fbx" and when i try to open it, Microsoft Paint 3D opens saying "Can't read that file. It may be invalid or in a format we don't support" and nothing happens. If anyone knows why and can help me it would be very appreciated!

Yeah what if I don't have SK mannequin -.- edit (if you don't have sk mannequin just add him by pressing on add > add feature or content map > Third person game mode.. SK mannequin is in third person project.

The skeletal structure of each character is different. Unreal Engine needs to know what bone in one skeleton matches the appropriate bone in the other skeleton.
