Guys, your geniuses. After seeing this video I had to go to the garage and try it. Only did a door, but it’s never felt so slick or smooth. This weekend I’m doing both our cars this way. Can we call this the DIY miracle paint decon?

Would you please do a video on window cleaning? One of the most diverse topics. After claying, I usually just use distilled water with a waffle weave towel. Very rarely do I use a Magic Eraser on the interior glass to remove "off gassing".

I never would have thought of using ceramic gloss as a lube for clay but it is an awesome idea. Would you suggest a clay n lube price of $249 given it should take about 30 to 40 minutes?

Very minimal effect, DIY Detail Quick Beads doesn’t adhere to the porous rubber of tires well.

I’m confused why you would use quick beads before u clay? Won’t clay just remove the quick beads making its application just a total waste?

No, DIY Detail Quick Beads helps in lubricity, and our perforated clay towel doesn’t remove ceramics, or even waxes for that matter.

Clay bars use abrasives to separate contamination from the surface. Perforated clay towels use a polymer and have space for the contamination to go. Yes clay bars abrade away waxes. Our towel doesn’t use abrasion to get the job done. Using Ceramic Gloss as the lube , your doing 2 things at once, using the towel to spread the Ceramic Gloss, and using the Ceramic Gloss as additional lubrication for the clay towel.

Why do you have to wait 30sec before rinsing quick beads off after you spray it on the panel if there is on the other side no need to let it dwell when spraying it in the stream of the pressure washer?

Waiting 30 seconds will give it slightly better longevity. That said you don’t have to wait.

Wasn't the black sponge literally made to use with soap because the red sponge material could not? This is the same sponge material yes? So why are you isng the red side?

Our red side isn’t the same as the old BRS. The black and red foam in the Legacy Sponge are designed to both work with soap.

Agreed, with the drying blanket, Yvan uses one hand to « anchor » the towel at a height it can’t reach the floor, and the other to dry. I need to work on my technique.
