Fastest way to clean polariser glue from LCD's | iCanRepairIt.co.uk

So i have heard alot about 8222 polariser remover. it is a liquid that designed to make clean polariser glue residue from lcds during the lcd refurbishment process.
I tried this liquid for myself to see if it really worth the money and how it compares to alternative cleaners like acetone and alcohol. IT IS THE FASTEST WAY OF REMOVING THE GLUE THAT I HAVE FOUND SO FAR!
I was very impressed with these results. Highly reccomend this 8222 glue remover.

Hi, thanks. How many screens can a 250ml do (will it be more than enough for a 17" LCD)? Can you wash the lens cleaning cloth to remove the dissolved glue or you have to use a new one every time (what detergent)? Can you use fiber cloth? Can you used 99.99% isopropyl alcohol to clean the OCA remover for the polarizer ( the 8333 version is the OCA or LOCA for the LCD glass, I believe)? Thank you. Advanced happy Easter

Why is it everyone has these wonderful results but then never go on to switching the phone on to see. Plenty of liquids clean screens, this was never an issue getting them clean. The issue was the damage the liquid did to the screen it when it got absorbed.

Its been a long while since i last did anything phone related but if i remember right 8222 was for polariser glue and 8333 was for cleaning oca (the glue above the pol) however i did stop using these chemicals and switched to the red blade holder with a dorco shaving blade.

@@Home_made_ch if it is ipad refurbishment and you are looking to remove the glue after cutting it with s molybdenum wire i recomend d-limonene and spinning rod tool and a final clean up with acetone

@@MCircuits If you go to Aliexpress search for 8222 Remover Liquids. You will find in their description on the use of 3 liquid removere namely, 8222, 8333 and 8777.

a mystery solvent from china with no english on the label so we have no idea what safety precautions need to be taken when working with it or what any of the ingredients are... perfectly safe to get all over your bare hands and breathe, i'm sure.

At the time of this video it was the best known thing. Shortly after this it was found that a dorco blade and acetone was better. Once i switched i never looked back this stuff is nasty Id say avoid it so i may remove this video

Use the 8333 because for the S7 Edge it is a glue between the touch glass and the digitizer. The 8222 used in this video is for the polarizer film which you can find on iPhones.
