Fantastically informative video. Well done! I do want to give a couple constructive criticisms though: 1- Invest in a better microphone or recording system. I feel like your voice is in 96 kbps MP3 or something. I can hear a faint robotic echo of your voice behind your actual voice, and that makes it harder to understand you. For example at 3:48 when you say "the goal of the siege is to break..." you can hear a distortion on the "is to". 2- Please stop doing the different sarcastic voice/accent you do when you simulate Timmy asking the questions. It's really hard to understand. I'm not the only one in this comment section who has pointed this out. I hope you heed these suggestions, because I really want to see your channel grow! :)

Hello our team does one phases all the time And there is one mechanic we don't get. Sometimes we are able to chip the horn before the 4rth area ( mostly in 2nd area ) and other times we put everything we got in the horns just to see if we can chip it and we are not able. Chipping the horn before fourth phase is probably not efficient on a world record speed run but we were just wondering on how the mechanic works. Possibly if there is a fast way to chip it before the 4rth area you could save a little time when actually breaking the horn because the horn is already chipped thus skipping some damage in 4rth area.

JinJinx lol we did enough. We have just gone for the horn the whole fight until it reached 4rth area and still have not chipped it. I feel like there is a certain way to do damage his horn to actually chip it pre 4. What I notice if you do the 8500 damage the horn will chip on the first few attacks in 4th. But not pre 4th. This is the one mechanic we just can't figure out.

JinJinx I don't really have footage. I can maybe get some but it would have to be off of Xbox. Don't have capture card. Could it be that I play off Xbox and you play off PlayStation? Only a few things I can think off. Could it be that the damage needs to be done at a certain time? We have gotten the chip a few times and about 90% of those times is when kulve was standing.

Your standard items are fine, although if using bomb strats make sure you bring enough materials for 9 mega barrel bombs. So 2 mega bombs, 2 large bombs, 7 devilsblight, 5 large barrels, and 5 lvl 1 gunpowders. For mantles rocksteady, fireproof, evasion, tempura, and affinity booster are all good choices.

Glad you like the video! The hzv is below 45 for shot meaning it is not considered a weakpoint. The easy eay to tell this is that the damage numbers are grey not orange. Although orange numbers are also not always weakpoints as hzvs of 40 can give orange numbers, which is the dumbest design choice on Capcom's part.

It doesn't work on ranged weapons no. It also doesn't work on anything when she is not RED HOT but that doesn't matter all too much because you are dealing most of your damage and breaking most of your parts while she is RED HOT. So you should still pack WEX unless using a ranged weapon (other than slicing ammo because it deals sever damage)

I am confused about one thing - when KT's RED HOT...every attack deals double damage and melee gets WEX. So does the melee then do 2.5x more damage if it crits? As opposed to 2x without crit? And can you still crit when she's in normal clothed mode? WEX doesn't work on range weapons but we can still focus on other things to increase base affinity yes? Like critical eye & critical boost?

For ranged weapons: Yes you can with crit eye. Crit boost is worthless. Because the shot HZVs are 25, 2 levels of crit boost don't even improve bow arrow or elemental ammo's damage by 1 per shot. The boost just gets rounded off because its so smol. For Melee: Basically yes. Her HZVs double meaning you deal double damage, and yes that means your crits on her RED HOT are around double the crits on her not. You can still crit when she is not RED HOT but because you don't have WEX active your crit chance is significantly lower.

How do you inc bowgun elem damage? Unlike other weapons, bowguns don't have elemental stats. If I use elemental ammo, does the ammo have its own elemental damage or does the ammo use the raw atk of the weapon?

Both actually. Essentially the bowgun has a base amount that does not change, then the raw gets added to that element stat, then the elemental attack also gets added. Elemental attack 3 is the cap for bowguns, except for dragon which caps at 2 for some reason. The increase from raw is honestly very minor though, it's only worth the investment after you have hit 100% affinity with crit element and all that. But it does increase it which is why a lot of elemental LBG builds run peak performance.

Being in a lobby with lots of people not doing Kulve despite being a Kulve lobby is actually part of the reason I'm here. I want to kick them in the balls real hard, and not just once. Good to know I'm not the only one who thinks one of the goals of the siege is undressing Kulve xD. Using a hammer against dressed KT is fine, though. You forgot that most casual hammer users can't even hit the head :P. Maybe I'm exaggerating a little, but I rarely see a decent hammer user in MHW. Most of them don't attack the head of any monster, then someone else does it for higher damage, then the hammer user decides to suddenly go after the head, but is knocked down constantly by the other people attacking the head. Plus, the bowguns are just that much better at it and more flexible from my experience. So what I learned from this video were the numbers needed for KT. You already mentioned the 45k for the pursuit 1 horns and the 8.5k for the chip, so here's where I can easily look them up in case I ever forget & want to explain it to a friend.

Pursuit 6 takes a full 16 person lobby collecting tracks normally at least 2 full track runs to get to it. So it ends up being about 2-3 times as slow per run as simply completing a P1 run.

It works fairly well on Console, although only if you have the taroth spark IG. Otherwise the jho IG will outdamage the other options that we tested. On PC, most likely the jho IG will still just be your best option.

This is annoying, "red hot.." timmy voice... its not entertaining, its just annoying sorry. I can`t watch the whole video and it tooks too long with GS. I farmed him so often and was bored, so i tried almost every weapon. Empress Styx with lots of crit + crit element can peel his clothes really fast. Even if you are alone, if you got two guys with Styx its crazy fast. The Problem is a decent group, to wreck the horns in stage 4.
