Thank you so much for this video! I was hard stuck at 1100 in 2v2 after 90 matches as a Havoc DH, but I am a king in RBGs! I went from 0-1400 in a day and 90% of the time feel like I'm kicking ass and contributing to wins. It's so much more fun then getting one shot over and over in arena!

I have a problem with the matchmaking system in arenas when me and my bro started doing arenas we were getting paired with 1600 rated players and our team rating was the same as it tells you at the end of the match we barely had 0 rating. And still now we get matched with players with 35-40k hp and we still aren't at 1200 rating after 300 matches telling us the team rating for both teams is 1180. This team matchmaking system is ridiculous the system should match teams by item lvl to make matches fair.

Beginning of the season is the only time it’s sort of fair. Your playing now against people with full pvp gear probably leveled up really high as well from either 3s or RBG’s

What you are experiencing is boosting. It's a huge problem this xpac for the reasons Blu mentioned in the video: gearing. Pve players are paying gladiators to boost them in 2s for fast gear.

I’ve been running with an rbg group and I there became aware of boosting as well. I’m not too sure about boosting in arenas but as far as the boosting in rbgs go it seems pretty fair. You pay a team maybe 2 carries and they will que and since there is only 2 of a team of ten your team rating won’t really be dropped super low that they will be playing against teams that they are much stronger against but I can see how this can become a huge problem in 3s or 2s where the mmr drops drastically where pros are playing against much much lower rated players

Thank you for actually acknowledging that PVP in shadowland (or in general) is hard. So many people complaining about it being easy for pvp players to get 226 gear, without acknowledging the amount of work that is put into getting a 2100 rating

Issue isnt the fact it's hard to pvp, the issue is that pvp has the best gearing system out of all content (who would've thought that reducing the amount of gear in pve while giving back targeted gearing to pvp would be an issue) and as such people who never played pvp feel forced to pvp to stay relevant.

As a DPS good luck finding a group. Sometimes it takes 3+ hours to even get into a group as dps in higher ratings

you still have to be a decent player to get 1800. you can't just walk in and get it, and nobody is going to carry you if you suck. RBGs are different to Arena, some find them a lot easier. They are probably more forgiving, certainly at lower ratings, but 1800 isn't a walk in the park to get, you need a decent team with you. Easy to #yolo to around 1500, but then it starts to get harder and you need to play well. play games, learn your class, gear appropriately, learn to communicate, and learn when to use cooldowns. this is how you climb rating.

The problem is for new shadowlands players, who has low ilvl and cannot find a good group to farm conquest. And for some reason, even a little ilvl in shadowlands is making a HUUGE difference.. I have 174 ilvl at moment, I get killed with 2 hits as a arms warrior lol Anyway, ty for the tips 👍

happens higher iLvl too, if im left alone to combo i get two Chaos bolts doing 25k each minimum (up to 28k depends on mastery proc) except tanks and even then, nothing survives that

The benefit of RBGs is that there are more players to cover up your mistakes, in arena mistakes are immediately evident. The plus side of arena's is how quickly you can rank and the amount of conquest you're getting per hour. If you're at 0 rank, join or start a "Chill CP farm" group, losses don't matter and you're only going to gain rating for quite a while. Q's last night for 3v3 were under 1 minute, and with a 50% win rate we got about 350 cp in less than an hour.

If you don't know how to play your class, you're not going to do well in RBGs either. Yeah, you can have 1 person in an RBG that doesn't know what to do on a class, but it REALLY depends on what class that is. You're handicapping your entire team if you don't know your class. You do 2s and 3s to learn how to play your class so you can get better at RBGs.

My 1300 and 1800 from rbgs would argue that point. I would say that the cc from 2 and 3s are soo much more often then the rbg just cc a few and nuke a specific target.

It really depends on what role you are performing. As rogue which is lot of time solo capping or solo defending points, often required to hold for long time 1v2 and such, you really have to know what you do. Same goes for some tank roles... usually defending players need to be good to survive long enough for reinforcements to come and not get capped. But if you are just one of the DPS in the main pack, you just stun called target and unleash your burst rotation, while occassionaly offhealing or ccing enemy healer, which is almost like PVE boss fight with adds sometimes :D Same goes for healers, you usually just maximize your throughput, while staing alive in rbg is much easier than in arena usually, just find something to LoS behind.

Awesome video. I looking at getting in to wow. I just have one question I can't find the answer to. How do you gear up without any HP or CP.? Like a fresh max lvl. If i get 10mil gold can i buy good gear at the auction house? Can i lvl up leatherworking and craft really good gear to start? i remember playing wow like 10 years ago and you couldn't kill anything if you didn't at least have good gear on. I don't know if it's still like that. What is the fastest way to gear up to make the BG/arena grind a little easier?

Wonderful question. The new expansion is being released I believe lat Nov or December but I don't believe an exact date is out. Anyhow as far as gearing for pvp goes I'd say the method for gearing is very simple, grind matches to get gear. Higher your pvp rating (serious pvp not just normal matches) increases the strength on the gear. Leather working has generally been a side thought generally not super helpful for gearing other than first few weeks of new release but all professions are getting a huge overhaul. I would say they will be relevant throughout more of the expansion now as far as gear is concerned but it will also require a lot more work than normally.

Also make sure to get your vers up you may get on mostly caster comps. SDKs have some type of honor talent to make enemies take more magic Damage. If you’re the only Mayway you will get nuked without a ton of vers

Hah, I saw your title and was like "I bet he also found out that doing RGBs can get you easy as fuck rating" :D I am now running RGBs as guardian druid, with legacy of sleeper legendary, you are really really useful as FC, or defender of spots as you cant be CC´d, which is huge, while doing very respectable damage. Actually really fun playstyle. Just one issue tho - even when I have "sufficient gear", playing highly sought-out spec with bis RGB talents and leggos, I sometimes have to spent more than hour looking for suitable group on my CR, which does not dissolve after first loss :(

as of now you have enough conquest to buy everything. early on that was not so. the trinkets give less value as conquest than upgrading the rest of your gear first (stam and vers)

Depends if the better version has vers or not. You need vers on all gear in rbgs because the benefit of the 2 pvp trinkets. If you are already geared then yes use your honor to buy gear and de it when it’s purple good gold to be made doing that if you only do battle grounds

Like I have been playing a ton of rbgs and make a good profit by buying the cheapest honor gear (for me is an off hand) I level it until it gets purple and instead of selling it I dis enchant it which is much more gold on my server

You are scaring people into arenas lol.. don’t play with a random. Find yourself a partner, talk to each other during the match. Communication is key in arena. Grab yourself a disc or an hpal friend and you will hit 1800 with a bit of practice...

@@bluclosetgamer4577 that’s the other important trick. Level alts using BG’s until you cap honor. When you hit 60, but a full unrated pvp set and upgrade every piece at least once. Starts you off with more versatility so the early stages of rating grind are easier.

If you have a wow account (A) and a free trial account (B) you level 20 char. up to lvl 20 in your B account, then you take a lvl 15 from your A account, and "kill" the 20 char. from account B 10 times each, every day for a month what rank will it give ... ???
