Growing pawpaws/papayas is easy. I had 6 trees in my yard. I never watered them - I just relied on rainfall. And from the 2nd year, I had more fruit than we could ever eat. But you should be aware that various animals like the fruit too. I had a flying fox and a possum visit frequently, and they will bite on the fruit as soon as it starts to go yellow.

That's awesome to hear, I have about 65 sprouts growing from seed and 4 mature trees on my property. I might start a Papaya farm :) A flying fox ...WOW! Thanks for sharing your story, cheers!
