@@RayDdulL rebattling trainers on route 117 is pretty good early game when you get there. You should be able to get there by just playing through the game normally. Later any of the other methods can work fine if you are training for the league.

I just discovered in the team aqua hideout there is a teleporter that transports you directly north of where you entered, so if you walk downward, you can walk infinitely just by holding the down button. It’s a lot slower than biking but if you leave it overnight it adds up.

landslide method doesn't work in Emerald sadly. It does in Ruby/Sapphire.

It's worth to mention that Ditto method at least is best for EV training, something you want to make sure to do before your Pokemon gains EVs in other stats as then you'd be forced to use EV reducing berries which uses valuable time and berries. I tend to do the Ditto method to simultaneously train EVs and early EXP levels. The EV training method is primarily why I thought it might be good for EXP but I was surprised to see that pickup completely blew it out of the park for lategame as well as Wally! So I guess my takeaway, if I was to *not* do cloning for rare candies, Use Vitamins to get EVs as close to what I want up to 100 in each stat->Ditto cave to give it the EVs you want(as you'd have to unlearn the EVs afterwards if you don't do it first) -> Wally until ~20k per level -> Pickup rare candies! And for those curious, here are the highest EXP yield pokemon that have 3 EVs in the respective stat that are strictly obtainable in Emerald with no trades. Base EXP is in parenthesis: HP: Slaking(210) Attack: Salamence/Groudon(both 218) Defense: Regirock(218) Special Attack: Kyogre(218) Special Defense: Regice(218) Speed: Crobat/Sceptile(204/208) Great video btw! I didn't think of that one, I was about to check for some potentially great EV training mons but you even made a list with the exp yield! You're a godsend, this is really helpful lmfao

@@erizoh I forgot to include how to do it, in retrospect. The way it works is you lead your pokemon to train, then turn 1 you switch to the pokemon whose EV yields you want, such as Regirock for Defense. You'll want your go to Pokemon to have a way to 1HKO an opposing ditto, whether that is just a really strong stab move, or something like Solarbeam for opposing Groudon, for instance.

Honestly you could do route 117 and have 4 pick up user at high level for a better strat overall, and if you are leveling multiple pokemon you could even deposit some in the day care

This technically doesn't count with the no trading rules, as this requires Fire Red/Leaf Green, but a strategy I commonly employ is trading my Pokemon over to Fire Red and grinding using the VS Seeker on One Island. There's a specific spot with a double battle, two trainers with Machokes/Machamps, and a trainer running up and down the shore. All of these trainers have Pokemon levelled up to 55, or in the case of the double battle, 56. Using an EXP Share and a trade boost, the two trainers with Machokes/Machamps yield close to 3K (2,993) each. The shore trainer, using two Primeapes, yields 2,630. The double battle yields 4,616, and that's without any manipulation to only have one Pokemon grab all the XP. There's also using a Lucky Egg, which yields exponential gains in grinding XP. Using my Swampert alone with them holding a Lucky Egg and being trade boosted, can go against one of the trainers with a Machoke and Machamp and nearly yield 9K experience (8,986). The trainer with two Primeapes yields 7,896 experience, and the double battle yields the same as with an EXP Share, 4,616 experience. This probably isn't viable for everyone, as acquiring a Lucky Egg takes.. well, luck. The only reason I have one is because the first Chansey I ever caught in the Safari Zone happened to have one during my Fire Red playthrough, and considering that the Lucky Egg is a 5% hold chance, on top of Chansey being rare and hard to catch, that could take several days if you happen to get unlucky. Regardless, this is a great way of grinding if you have the right tools.

Thanks for the comment! I agree, that is a good strategy for people who can trade, as I also think it is easier to level up in FR/LG, especially on the island. I am actually currently working on a video for training spots in FR/LG, and I have to say grinding for the lucky egg is a big pain in the...!! But well worth it in the long run:)

very true. I've also heard that you can get the lucky egg in Gale of Darkness as well, although it requires you do a post-game side quest. even still, it might be worth it to get around trying to find a Chansey with one. that and Gale of Darkness also doubles as a good way to get a legit Lugia in gen 3, so hey, win win!

I used to put my Pokémon in the daycare and hold up on the mudslide in the sandstorm area. That way you can leave it and come back to levels, not sure if its faster though.

There is blissey Super Secret Bases that you can get from QR codes, which is the absolute second quickest method only behind EXP candy in SwSh. Also the Higher level E4 probably makes up for that.

For passive training you can set Pokemon up in the daycare and tape the forward button down on your controller in front of a sand slide.

My best strategy for Levelup is put one Linoone in the daycare until its Level 100 then clone it so u have 6 and Do some random battles for the sweet rare candies and loot

I would use the Breeders and then move to Victory Rd to farm Golbat and later E4, usually not using EXP Share. I had not known how to force Wally battles, or about that Gabby & Ty not relocating trick. Gabby & Ty with the relocating I found too slow, but with them not relocating it is easier to get into a rhythm. I'm sure this could be sped up even further if Pickup is applied to farm Rare Candy. That cannot be consistently calculated though as that deals with more RNG.

No, only after. What I like to do is just battle the elite four until you lose over and over, but make sure to use all your money on potions, revives and full heals first, since you lose some money for every defeat:)

What about the battle tower glitch? I mean, you manage to get a rare candy and then you abuse that glitch getting hundreds of candies and level up to like 97, train the evs and the use the other candies to get to lvl 100🤔🤔🤔
