@@MankeyMiteyes. I have done the glitch where the code should pop once I look at the “Pokémon’s” summary. It has worked for me numerous other times. It even works when I enter this code for celebi the paper pops saying I have completed the Pokédex however the code in box 14 doesn’t change therefore the second code doesn’t execute properly either.

@@xavierpinarreta5386ah ok ur using the 40E9 fast code execution one? It might be that this code requires the use of Dots egg (0611) instead for it to work. Remember to move your bad egg to a box other than 1,2 and 11-14 before using the hatching method.

@@xavierpinarreta5386 yea im not sure if it works but there has been a few mentioning issues on console, and if I remember correctly this was one of the solutions. (i just assumed you are on console) Edit: If your box 14 doesn't change names, there is something wrong with your code. Maybe you used the wrong character for emulator/console, and if not, try the opposite one.

@@xjlin6052 I'm not 100% sure, but I've heard that if you have mixed records with another console, you get asked to trade decorations instead of getting the ticket.. I'm not sure how to get around that at the moment:/

@@xjlin6052 hm which emulator? mGBA and some others work, but there might be some that struggle with codes without the BIOS enabled. Maybe check if there is an option to turn that on.

@@xjlin6052 ah, I believe web-based emulators have trouble emulating at an accurate enough level so that it struggles replicating memory behavior, causing all or some ACE codes to not function.

Another great method that I ALWAYS use to do is to hatch a pokemon on another copy of the game like from emerald to ruby or vice versa for example and when it has the desired nature and IV stats I EV train it first and then I trade it on the other copy of the game to get the double amount of XP for each defeated opponent's pokemon. Then I double up again on the XP gains by equipping the pokemon I want to level to 100 with a lucky egg to further increase the XP flow from double XP to 4x the amount. It works like charm each individual pokemon of the Hoenn elite 4 now gives you roughly up to 2500-6000 XP depending on it's level and evolutionary state. Hypothetically speaking since in the 3rd gen Kanto's elite 4 is the strongest level wise you could even trade your Pokémon onto FR/BG to maximize your XP gains per battle when doing their elite 4.

try placing the egg first in your party before deleting, and make sure you delete it in the deposit mode on the pc.

i just saw your video and i went to the safari zone entered area 2 and got a chancey and i am not gonna lie i litreary threw as many baits as possible wihtout any math jus thinking if as many baits are threwn the pokemon is less likely to fly and will eat ore and more and threw a a bait again and again to the chancey and i caught the first one with the lucky egg lolsss....... in just about 10 mins lolsss

If you want to because I saw in one of your comments saying that you would need to make a new guide There is a calculator that takes your game version, your trainer ID and what the trendy phrase is for the day. It doesn't work if you manually change the trendy phrase When you put in all those information it will show you the six spots that it is guaranteed to spawn for that trendy day

@@Luigi-si5qd have you tried going to the ship in Lilycove like you normally would with the event? If it they won't let you travel to the island, then I assume it is because the event flag must be set which probably won't happen when you "spawn" the item in. You would then need to do the ACE code for setting the flag for eon ticket instead, so it triggers the event. I have a video for that if you need, otherwise you can find it in the pastebin link

I just ended up with a “bad egg” instead of the “question mark”. I’ve done this by typing the characters following the google docs file, then after the “bad egg” appeared I retype everything following your video step by step. Still ended up with the bad egg. Do you know can I fix this? I’m using the delta emulator btw

@@pau8334 it might not work on the delta emulator, actually. I've yet to see someone do this code on that one. Some of these more advanced codes require more accurate emulators like the mGBA to work. By google docs i assume you mean the pastebin? If you have made sure to rename your the pokemon you put next to your Dots correctly and typed the box codes correctly, then chances are you might not be able to do it on Delta.

Hey! I have not yet got my lucky egg, but I am using this method with a level 26 Oddish who knows Sweet Scent. This automatically attracts a wild Pokémon. Oddish is holding cleanse tag (not sure if it does anything but maybe?) and I used a max repel. Once you are in the space where you want to be you can just use sweet scent over and over and it won’t actually burn any of your steps. So the repel doesn’t wear off, and the time only ends when you run out of balls! Seems to solve a couple of the problems you mentioned. Still saving at the entrance. This seems to yield lots of Chanseys! I just haven’t got my egg yet😊 Edit: upon further research I found that the repel trick doesn’t work with sweet scent, but it does still make your time essentially unlimited! Worth the trade off? You tell me… I’m gonna keep doing it my way I think.

I would not reccommend using sweet scent because as you said it ignores the repel, giving you a larger pool of Pokemon that might appear, making it a 4% chance to find, instead of 5,33%. That is 33% more chansey's on average you're missing out on. Also, the time between using each encounter is longer, as you have to go into the party and use it, then watch the animation as well before getting an encounter, where you might get the encounter right away on the bike. Even if you run out of steps it's not a big deal as you just need a few seconds to get right back in. As some in the comments mentioned, you can instead move your characrer back and forth so it never actually takes a step. That way you can also be there until you run out of balls and the repel won't run out either.

@@rmusic3311 The train is initially non-operational due to a Team Rocket Grunt stealing the Machine Part from the Power Plant in Kanto. Once you recover the part from the Cerulean Gym and bring it back to the Power Plant, the train becomes functional again. Then you need a pass. To get the Magnet Train Pass, visit the Copycat’s house in Saffron City, learn about her lost Poké Doll, retrieve it from the Pokémon Fan Club in Vermilion City, and return it to her.

The easiest way go get a lucky egg in gen 3 is to play through XD Gale of Darkness and get the lucky egg from the post game.
