Posted this comment in anther review video of the same set. Just wanted to share it again. Some Interesting facts about this set. 1) The first being that at one point each toy was given a name but cause of a legal issue with one of the names, all names were removed. 2) The Orange and Brown toys were the ones recalled; Orange cause of battery and wires inside of him and the Brown cause of the liquid. 3) The Orange being the only one to actually meant to SCREAM was given a mechanism that never worked properly. 4) All of there toys were repackaged at one point; which is why depending on where you lived you got a different insert card then the one shown in the video. 5) Depending on where you lived The Brain Bot and Cyborg were also recalled, the main reason being the liquid leaked. 6) Upon seeing a McDonalds ad on youtube; The Seas Creature was pulled/recalled in some states of the US; not sure as to why. 7) Due to the fact; that 5 toys were recalled (The Sea Creature only in some states of the US); The Sea Creature and Mad Scientist were put into double production. This is why McDonalds had those two toys for the longest period of time; Hence, why every single kid had one or both of those toys. 8) It was not uncommon for the mechanism in the Mummy to brake or already broken when you first got it. 9) Mad Scientist BRAIN dried out quickly. I remember throwing mine out months after the set finished, for that reason. 10) The Skeleton was literally the only toy that had no issues or problems. Sadly, I do remember that is was the least popular. Overall, this is regarded as one of the worst sets in McDonalds History. Many collectors do not even bother with this set; some even act like it doesn't exist. Oh well; on to the next set, I guess

Such nostalgias from my five years old! I have the mummy, the cyborg, the creature of the black lagoon, the skeleton and the mad scientist. As a kid i don't understand why they removed the Grim Reaper guy and the booger ogre on the showcase since they gets recalled

Quick question but how did you find out that there were 2 recalled figures in this set?

Cause all the advertisements said 8 toys and even the first commercial that aired had all eight toys in it. BUT when you went inside McDonalds, only 6 toys were in the display. Toys 1 & 2 insert card had the pictures of the 2 recalled ones, but the following toys, the insert card was different with only 6 toys. This was clearly a last minute thing, and McDonalds had to act fast and do some quick damage control.

Th ghost actually had “red “ liquid😂obvious now why it was recalled. The ogre was prob something to do with the sound from the battery in it. Prob scary scream but replace the batteries & find out
