Are you using here the dance weight or polypro? I haven’t purchased a polypro before so I’m curious to see is being used on someone.

This one is a taped polypro. Most of my videos are my heavy weighted body rock hula hoops but this one is a light weight. Having them taped adds a bit more weight and makes them less fly away.

I would love to start hooping. But I don't know where to start. Where should I look for my first hoop, or what type should I look for. Thanks

Hi Denise. I make and sell hula hoops and ship worldwide from Australia. My Foundations of Hoop Dance online course also teaches a full hoop dance routine from the very basics of waist and hand hooping all the way to the vortex and how to thread tricks together. It's $99 AUD and comes with a $30 store credit for a beginner hoop. spinjoy.com.au/products/foundations-of-hula-hoop-dance-online-course

But just generally, for learning you'll want a specific weighted adult size dance hoop for learning. You get them from hoop makers usually online. The size you need is relative to your height and waist circumference. Here's the first video from my course that gives a general overview explaining hoops but if you need specific advice on hoop size, send me your measurements and I can suggest a good size for you ❤️ kzbin.info/www/bejne/b6S8nGNsrZyDrrc
