Semrah in Watcher of Realmls is a joke he is so bugged. His "stacks" getting "dispelled" and a COMPLETE AND UTTER VISUAL LIE! Whether this deception was intentional or an accident, it must be fixed and clearly explained IMMEDIATELY! I spent all morning testing this in Guild Boss 2 and editing the footage to make it clear as day for you all. This is at best shockingly thoughtless mistake and at best a complete and utter scam.

#FIXHIMNOW The buffs shown in the Semrah fight are not real. Internally, they are always being registered as permanent buffs which can only increase until a max of 6 stacks regardless. That number was never able to decrease. "Dispelling" these buffs does LITERALLY NOTHING beside temporarily removed the buff icon (the effect ALWAYS remains). It is all just a visual mirage on the surface of an internal mechanism which we would could never control or alter to begin with, and I am supremely disappointed. Please test Lucius in other content like gear raids. I haven't tested him yet but the chatter is he is bugged on buff removal for all content not just GB2.

As a player, I empathize with the frustration. But as a developer (albeit not a game developer) I’d like to see us players give them grace and time to fix it right or we’ll be back here screaming again. I’d much rather see a notice of “we’re working on it” and a fix comes out in two weeks vs a rushed fix that appears to work but doesn’t. Timely and effective communication is what is needed right now.

@@fastidious_gg to be fair they did change Lucius kit to make him remove 5 buffs instantly when he uses Ult. So they made him perfectly useful in GB2 assuming GB2 wasn’t broken. Either Lucius buff removal doesn’t work or GB2 buffs aren’t actually being removed but they did address the initial issue. They may not know that his buff removal isn’t doing anything, they clearly made the change to his kit to make him much better for GB2 (and that only took days for them to change). Even if GB2 comes back to 6 stacks every time, Lucius can now immediately drop them to one. So they listened to feedback and made a change, they just may not realize that buff removal isn’t working. So it’s a second bug they have to fix, they fixed how Lucius’ kit work to make him theoretically good for the boss. Now they have to actually fix the boss/buff removal in general. 100% good to raise awareness of, but this isn’t the same issue that was originally raised, that has been addressed through a kit change to Lucius. So Lucius’ kit is where it needs to be to handle GB2 mechanic where it slowly increased the stacks it gives itself, the issue now is that seemingly buff removal itself is entirely broken, but that’s a different issue.

I'm on the verge of asking for a full refund for false advertising. I pulled hard for a5 lucius as I'm building a strong watcher team (got a4), spent real money on the promise of lucius dispelling buffs. He doesn't do it - he doesn't do what we were told. He also doesn't remove the buff from the valderon boss. I've copped abuse on Facebook saying he is broken, so I'm ready to support this in full until it is fixed.

Hes not zero effect as he allows your team to do more damage as he removes hardening. The earth's shatter increase is attached when a stack of hardening is added but I don't believe removing hardening removes the stacks added to earth's shatter as they are independent of one another. Hardening is a buff while the attack increase is an effect triggered each time the buff is gained.

Good on you for making this video Fastidious. This is very reminiscent of when they first released Zelus' anti-heal artifact - at first everyone thought, wow, Zelus may finally have some use! We were wrong. It was a week or two later post-release where I decided to test it, realised it wasn't working, got in touch with MaBucket and we both confirmed it to not be working... He made a video about it and it was only after it was brought to light in that way did the Devs decide to go and fix it, as support tickets had achieved nothing. Hopefully there will be some admission of fault from the devs and this gets fixed but I wouldn't expect it; most likely just a fix and then bury it in the sand that they (potentially) tried to deceive players, or that they are incompetent and don't actually test their fixes. It would not surprise me to find out that there are a lot of other things not working with WoR to this day

I Will play devil advocate here. The tests performed are a bit weak, to better understand if there is a bug or not: 1- all buffs were removed after casting earth shatter. Game might be coded in a way were it registers stacks when channeling. Dispeling them might be useless. Have you tried dispeling them while channeling Aegis? 2- Rocks might be coded in a way which reads stacks from the prior attack. Since It wasnt dispelled prior to channeling It, It IS still wrong. 3- have you tested whether or not p.dmg reduction stacks after dispeling? This way we can understand how stacks are coded. 4 - if there is no increase in dmg after dispeling, then stacks are bugged always. If the boss takes more dmg, then It all comes down to the attack channeling mentioned before.(Which IS still a bug, but we just pinpointed the problem, which would make It easier for bug fixing)

For 3th/4th point, by taking out most of the team, leaving only, healers and luci It could be tested. Either way It IS bugged, which is a shame. It feels to me that some of the team who tests for Bugs are kinda new to the job, cause these kind of things should never be seen. Specially if you have a test server.

The most outrageous "salt on the wound" is the fact that the devs did not pull punches in the speed of fixing the anti-heal. I have 0 anti-heal heroes so my hopes to get a little higher than my current 6k points was Lucius in a way and if I'm incredibly lucky to get Praetus... but when the boss/heroes do NOT work in the benefit of the players, suddenly there isn't a miraculous over the top speedy fix of the issue. Can we make a petition or something? I'll definitely sign it T_T #FIXHIMNOW and maybe also #PlayFairDevs

And Lucius don't remove the buffs from the boss Valderyon, I pulled him for this too but it simply don't work. The mechanic to dispell enemies' buffs is simply badly implanted and it will be a problem for all further heroes having this, further content relying on this or even old content probably not possible to dispell. Pulled him A3, it's not a bad hero but not the one we were promised.

Great video - and thank you for showing this to others as well as proofing it for the developers. From a coding perspective - I have read many times now, that the Anti-Heal "bug" got fixed so fast, but here it seems to take way longer. I have no access to the code, but it might be a bit more tricky to remove/fix this bug than the Anti-Healing one. I am very certain that the developers are aware of this situation and certainly doing their best to find a solution - again that is just my assumption. Of course it is annoying, but with so much going on in this game right now, I think it will take a bit until this will be fixed. I am not taking side with anyone - I try to see it objectively and hope that others can so too. It is such a wonderful game and the community is great and so are the developers, I am sure it will be fixed soon - after all they are not Plarium!

Man, I've made my bad feelings about this game fairly well known, at least to you privately- I've fought the urge to really blow them up publicly. I was excited for Lucius and pulled everything I had and was able to get him. The only reason I wanted him was for GB2. This has been super disappointing, but right in brand for Moonton. I thought I was crazy today, thank you for this video. I've spent 3hrs today trying and trying to pass this phase, I was dispelling like crazy, but my heroes keep dying. How Moonton does their business is ridiculous, anti-heal was fixed in a matter of hours, yet the hero which was specifically tailored for this phase of the boss was "fixed", even though I believe it's a bad fix, after a week or two after we noticed that it wasn't working correctly. Now they want to tell us, that during the "fix" and "test" of Lucious, not a single soul saw the damage on other heroes and the fact that you can't pass this stage is mind-blowing for me. They feed players with money grabbing banners every week or two( I know, you don't have to buy it), they release unfinished and untested heroes and content. Really sad, because the community even though small, is made from good people, unlike their other hit game Mobile legends, where the whole community is made up of trolls and racist. I hope they realise what they have with this community and content creators before it's too late. You guys are spending countless hours trying to perfect a stage, for everyone to pass, countless hours streaming, editing, for lets say pennies on the dollar, compared to some other games and creators, all because of love for the game. Idk man, rng Gods looked up at me, and my 1,5 month saving went into Lucios banner, where I got him to A3. You could say I was ecstatic, and today the final two skill crystals went into him and he was ready to shine, just for me to try and try for hours and fail because of lazy and bad coding. I was holding my summon crystals to this, ignored Anora totally, even knowing that I would not be able get her after, all for Lucius. I spended everything that I could on him, and I not even got him. Got just a Cerberus and a Seraphine, both not even in the banner. I accepted my bad luck and moved on, but now I'm mad. If I knew this BS before I would hold my crystals or invested it on Anora. I feel deceived. I hope a great reparation from the devs, or I'm probably quiting this game.

Cause for me its ok to have a bug, but then just stand by it, adress it, say yeah we get it, we are working on it and all is good, but the crazy thing is that a Guy from my Community came up to me about Semrahs bugs and wanted to know whats true now and what not, cause he wrote to Support about it and they said, no this is how its supposed to work???? Like what?? People also should now, Semrah by itself everytime it changes phase, already getting powered up so lucius and his mechanic will not entirely make phase 2 so easy, we still need top of the line team comp to be able to 120k.

I was actually in shock when I saw this myself, because they release a character to deal with an issue.. and it does nothing even if you time it all perfectly. It also means you do less dmg as the same stacks increase damage reduction for semrah still remain. Fix please!

The Problem is not only with Semrah. Also the Buffs of the Valderon event boss cannot be dispelled with Lucius. So far Lucius is useless for what he usually was intended to be. I put all my resources into getting him and now I am quite disappointed. Hope that Moonton will fix him.

As soon as I pulled him I tried to run him in the Boreas codex to remove the damage reduction so I could just use Silas and other dps and he didn't work. I can't say I was expecting him to but hoped it had maybe fallen through the cracks. It seems like his entire kit has fallen through the cracks though lol. Though the Valderon boss doesn't make a lot of sense for him to remove the buffs either.

The thing I hate so far is luscious alt mode thing. Like it always activates and ruins using the ult to clear buffs, it should be a thing or be a choice to use, not randomly activated

I've been saying, if the boss is normal(also just get +1 buff and not this bs he it get +5,+6 immediately if we diapel), the Lucius before changes is better cause you can always pop his ult and he will just dispel the buff along the way instead of now that we need to wait for the right time and have a chance for his demon mode trigger instead. Such a joke, Lucius is not the problem from the beginning its the boss itself.

Thanks for making this video and pointing these things out, man. This community is lucky to have such a content creator. Now I finally know what was the source of my huge frustration for wasting 4 hours of my life trying to figure out, why things are not working out for me in this content. The first week, I was able to make 30k, second week and this week, I hardly get over 20k. I invested to Lucious to help me out, another waste. By the way it seemed to me today that Marri stopped being able to causing dmg reduction stucks during the first phase with her crowd controll skills. Thanks once again for being loud with these things, because yes, esentially they gave us a new content with freebies, but they still mislead us to invest time, efforts and resources to be able to achieve the best rewards possible and it is just a waste, which is not cool. You are as always much appreciated, man!

I used my semrah keys allready. I allways do my runs with alistair or volka so i dont know if the damage reducing debuff works. It seems so bugged that now I dont trust a single thing. Ill test as much as possible from monday and report the issues. I can go distance in the fight got 140k this week so i can check all the fases and damage increase to round 5-6

Pretty messed up. I literally spent money to ensure i had enough summons to get Lucious. With how good the rewards are from GB2 and his kit dispelling, he was marketed and as basically necessary to complete GB2 so i spent money to ensure i got him and now he’s useless. Don’t release game modes or heroes when they aren’t working correctly. This is so dumb. Definitely need to fix this asap.

Again, they can fix a bug with the Antihealing because it allows the players to cheese something they want to be hard content, but when it comes to making sure the players are able to actually do content due to it not being bugged, I bet they take A LOT longer. Nope, there is definetely cheat code for this boss. People already 120k++ this boss with those cheat code. Praeteus, carnelian, elowyn. There are also heroes like nazeem and thallen who completely shut up +12 stack stun for first phase. But to reach 120k+ we need heroes that do dmg, survive, buff. So there is cost value which hero should be able to do it and it would not sounds good for just anyone.

They will now fix this issue by "Boss like Semrah are unaffected by debuff effect" and it only works on mobs. There Hero bugg fix. It should not be taking out the aegis shields.

I used Lucius to attack Semrah last week and this week. In my mind, it was working normally, especially since Lucius is already strong by default and dealt more than 100M damage. However, I got stuck precisely at the shield phase. (I found it strange not being able to get through due to lack of damage and some heroes die, especially since it was easy until then, but I accepted it) Now we know the reason, thank you Fasti! It would be interesting if they rewarded everyone who used Lucius to attack Semrah last week and this week with something like double the reward, or two more keys to attack the boss again, something like that... or better than that.

Debuffs are classed as negative status effects and can be cleansed to 0. Buffs you'd think would be treated in same way as positive status effects. And could be reduced to 0 when dispelled. Yet buffs are not treated this way. Buffs are only visually removed. This occurs with all buffs. Semrah is not the only bugged content. It occurs with everything every single buff can not be removed. They just temporarily hidden visually. This occurs in every mode. Yet debuffs can be cleansed to 0. Why is it they got it so wrong because buffs are not treated as positive status effects.

There's also some bug in stage 1 where he charges his half-screen attack, and while attacking the left side, he can hit units on the right side, for some reason?

Thanks for this Fasti... Most of us only have 1 dispeller (Midan). I pulled hundreds of rare summons for Lucius for aegis shield stage.. Now he is useless. Therefore any second team I use is decimated by the poisons and my main team can't deal with the aegis shields... Compensate with Elowyn please Moonton.

Well thanks for confirming my observation. I had that negative damage/survivability results with Lucius - basically it was as bad as before the fix and running it auto or timing it had 0 impact. Ok maybe the fix was not live in Aegis mode, then saw them dispelling and it looked fixed - then numbers did not improve after the dispel. Then ran in multiple times and my outcome was pathetic to say the least. I finally took out Lucius out of rotation and made him part of my junk second team... May I ask to please take care of yourself. It happens and no one died - please let’s see the response first. It is important for your mental health and wellbeing to not be affected as strongly by someone else’s mistakes.

Valderon in the story chapter Beta also puts 'what i assume' buffs on himself. My Lucius either does NOTHING against those buffs, or the buff visuals are never removed from Valderon

I not only used a TON of saved summon resources and gems to get Lucius (he was clearly the one most people were pulling for on that banner, and I personally decided to prioritize getting him over the limited hero,) but I also used a TON of saved resources to immediately get all his skills etc. THAT is how big we assumed this hero was going to be for the GB2 encounter. I'm choosing to believe the devs will make this right, but for sure they dropped the ball. If any part of this was intentional, as per the skill descriptions they needed to be VERY clear, because their inconsistent skill descriptions means we often have to make guesses about what we THINK the skill deswcription is trying to say, AND if intentional they'd have to KNOW it works in a very non inuitive way compared to every other dispell we see in the game where removed debuffs STAY gone. Also, there is honestly no way they should have released a dispell hero like this without a buffs/debuffs overhaul in game. Let us see buffs and debuffs on non boss enemies. Make a clear indication of NON dispellable buffs (since Lucius is currrently not removing buffs in other encounters) if they intend to have that, and change the terminology when things do not interact with dispells as players would expect. Don't want buffs removable from your brand new GB2 encounter? Then don't release a dispel hero immediately after! Or call the buffs in that stage "Blessings" or something and make it CLEAR that "Blessings" are only temporarily removed. This shit isn't hard to do, and it isn't hard to predict where players will get confused and justifiably angry.

I‘m with you that this has to be fixed like asap but always remember Moonton did a generous and really good job with the player Base this is their first major mistake. Company’s like Plarium were scamming people for so much longer. WoR is still a good game with a lot of potential. They need to fix this but I’m not sure if it’s worth it to unleash the mob angry torch waving gamers if you know what I mean. ^^

Seems the atk down debuff only effects the character that put it on. Volka applying the debuff took less dmg each time

A thing i noticed is that the shield keeps the 6 section lighten up of blue even if you buff dispel and that's where the scaling dmg comes i think and when you buff dispel the light on the shield should turn off since from how it's written the stacks should mirror the blue light on his shield but those never go away so ones he reach 6 semrah it's always at max dmg

For me it's really a simple fix of treating all buffs as positive status effects and using cleanse coding to reduce them to 0 with a dispel. But it is a lot of work recoding every buff to act that way and pretty sure each buff will need to be done individually as in some content buffs are permanent. This is no quick fix and we must be patient.

Someone understands. It definitely seems like they haven't coded buffs with the idea of a hero removing them in mind. The anti heal thing was probably the simplest fix ever, this is a pretty big mechanical issue in the game. They should've obviously had it working on release, but eh shit happens, devs might've been rushed by the banner being forced by the higher ups for the exact dates and not had time to properly test it, especially as they buffed him a few days prior.

Hypothesis: damage is locked in at the point the aegis mode bar ends. Testing methodology: use Lucius to cleanse the stacks before the bar is finished. Check for damage.
