God has always asked me to fast, because I am about to be used in deliverence. He said, "You must decrease, so I can increase." Then I saw myself as an earthen vessel. I must be made smaller, so God can take up more room. That more anointing can fit inside. The stronger the principality, the longer the fast. I know God said it, because God confirms His words by taking away my hunger for the duration of the fast as well. He also sometimes even shows me the situation in advance to pray for them. Jesus even said to those beaten up by demons: "These only come out by much prayer and fasting." (Paraphrased). Though once God told me to fast, then told me to stop in the middle, because my bridegroom was here. That was when I met my now husband. Fasting is and always is, for me, about relationship with God. Obeying His voice, doing His work, cleansing my body, and delivering those that are bound.

few years ago I learn how to fasting when I switch to ate KETO diet. My faith coming stronger and I can Fast 7-10 days long. (do not forget you need drink but not ate)

Jesus said that some types of demons cannot be cast out except through prayer AND FASTING: “And when they were come to the multitude, there came to him a certain man, kneeling down to him, and saying, Lord, have mercy on my son: for he is lunatic, and sore vexed: for ofttimes he falleth into the fire, and oft into the water. And I brought him to thy disciples, and they could not cure him. Then Jesus answered and said, O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him hither to me. And Jesus rebuked the devil; and he departed out of him: and the child was cured from that very hour. Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out? I always appreciate the insight of 119 ministries. I was thinking back and I believe Peter asked or maybe the disciples asked Him why they weren't able to drive out certain spirits. Didn't the Messiah say certain types of spirits Or miracles we must fast 1st before dealing with them.?

You can do a 40 day Daniel fast, right? Possibly starting out with a dry fast, move to liquid, then to Daniel fast for the rest.

Fasting can surely get wonderful results. But if you are not very healthy, it can be harmful, especially to the adrenal glands. It is, after all, a form of starvation. I used to get good results with a once weekly 24 hour water fast.

Hello Crissy there is no water in the desert. It could be possible that he did not drink any water even though it is not mentioned. Just like Moses!

Deuteronomy 9:9 says days and nights. If Moses can do it then Yeshua can. Simple as that. Plus there were times in the Bible when it says days in the term of 24hr periods so it's most likely referring to the 24hr period to mirror Moses

The body can physically go without water for 3 days and without food for 40 days . After 40 days the body starts eating itself . But don’t quote me
