@@archangeltred5729 When fasting, the body will work to create what it needs to keep living. So, in the absence of exogenous nutrition, it will create glucose through gluconeogenesis, breaking down body fat. Fat storage is a result of a caloric surplus. If you have 20lbs to lose, eat a moderate caloric deficit for a sustained period of time. Intermittent Fasting will slow metabolism LESS than sustaining a low calorie diet for an extended period of time. If you are hungry, eat your vegetables, count your calories, macros, and expenditure. Do the math, be consistent, be patient. You can't not lose.

I have to say the electrolytes you recommended really help me, I just got in the trial shipment and I was at work and I was feeling really run down and I had just started keto again I had gone off for a month, and it's been like a week since I started keto. Yes I did an associate keto with the lower electrolytes at the time but like I said I just got in the electrolytes you recommended in the mail so I'd popping open and put it into my water bottle I swear half hour later I had so much energy , I work until midnight and I swear I still couldn't go to sleep when I got home I had so much energy. I don't take them everyday because when they're expensive I did buy a 30-day supply so that maybe will last me 2 months but it's a good product.

The problem was fasting regularly is that it’s diminishing returns as your body gets ‘used’ to it and adapts, so you dont do it regularly for the same length of time on the same days and you vary the length of fasting. It’s exactly the same with exercise and weight training, you do the same routine all the the time the body gets used to the routine and you lose the benefits - you have to mix it up and this ‘shocks’ the body out of routine expectation mode.

So, they have no data on how the sirtuin expression changes with the duration of fasting or how quick the elevated expression levels drop after a fast? By the way: What I never get in your videos whenever you talk about fasting and the duration of it: Are the numbers universal or would they be different within a ketosis lifestyle? Right now a eat a ketogene diet since 2 weeks, do intermitted fasting (16 to18 hours), keep a calorie-deficit and really struggle with this ACV(can't handle the taste, hope it gets easier). So I assume many things you say about fasting duration is potential different in my situation, some effect should kick in earlier.

@pat40053 жыл бұрын
My maternal grandmother ate beef and other meat every day, (they ate "nose-to-tail") as her family owned a farm and lived off the land. They also fished. She lived to be 96 years young, and was an amazing woman. Farm life was very hard and demanding back then, (She was born around the turn of the century), and you worked hard from sunrise to sunset, taking care of your animals, yourself and your family. The house had a central stove and the 2nd floor got warm from the rising heat. And of course there was the outhouse, but in the winter, they had to shovel a path to it. No fun if you have to go in the cold months! I remember hearing stories from my Mom and other family members of hers, about how harsh the winters were up in Minnesota, on the farm, but they wouldn't have traded it for anything, because they loved their family time and their farming community. The entire family played several musical instruments each, and enjoyed making music together. My Mom had fond memories of when the community got together on Saturday evenings, and everyone got a chance to play music, dance and show off skills. Grandma K had 8 children and she lived to be 96. She lived on her own at her own home and took care of herself until her final day, when she had called a cab to take her to the hospital, as she was feeling a little tired. ❤️
