How do you know that it’s pure? I have someone accusing me of doing witchcraft on him when I literally let them stay at my house for free. I just finished a 21 day water fasting. I believe that by doing this God broke generational curses over my family and strengthened the spirit of self control over me. Hello! I’m 13 I took classes on god my dad is Muslim and my mom is catholic they don’t believe in there religion like I do! I believe that the devil has no authority over me which is for more then 10 years I have had the dream to accomplish goals and become a vet to help poor animals that are on the streets 2 years ago I was saved by god I had 40% of death rate I was in a coma for 2 weeks I never cried why? Roughly about 10 years ago I was sitting outside and praying to God asking how I can know him more and I heard a voice say “fast”. The Holy Spirit spoke to me! This was before I knew anything about fasting. I quickly stood up and had chills. Went inside googled it , sure enough the voice was right. The voice was soft and felt from behind. I still can’t believe it to this day. I shared my experience with my husband who is also a believer. The next day I fasted and told him I was fasting. I became irritable and we fought. Since then I have kept it to myself. Thanks for the video!

Jesus didn't eat or drink for 40 days and then the devil came to try to tempted him. Esther fast and ask God for help. I do believe some things you talking about but God does wants me to stop eating because I have been over eating and having health issues. In my case I strongly believe that God wants me to fast from food and come to him to remove the yoke of bondage. God help me overcome smoking and I was unable to break free and I fast for the first time in my life and he broke that chain from my life now I am smoke free. If God was able to do what I for year couldn't I just imagined what his planning now that his calling me to fast. Praise God and all glory to God.

I just ended my fast last night, it was tough. I prayed constantly and asked TMH for strength to endure. I only told my fiancée bc she kept asking me why I wasn’t eating lol. Other than that, no one else knew I was fasting. I also made sure to look as normal as possible. Adding: She now wants to fast and learn more about TMH. That really made me happy. I’ve been asking TMH to give me wisdom and understanding to lead my family to Him, and I think fasting has allowed my fiancée to be called by TMH. Now she can establish her salvation with Jesus. The next step is for us to be baptized. I just will pray, fast and ask TMH to lead me to a church.

I have found the right path for me. I dry fast 24h once a week every week. It helps me a lot alongside my daily prayers in the morning and at night I am lot less a sinner and i am so so grateful to the almighty God and the lord Jesus Christ to put me into that healthy and spiritual path. 🙏

Jesús fasted without food but his fast was accompanied by prayer. This type of fasting is biblical and is a very powerful spiritual weapon. But when you do it, you don t go around telling everyone about it. There are times when the Holy Spirit has moved me to do a fast, I ve cooked food for my family that day and they haven t even realized that I didn't eat. During the time I'm fasting, I don't waste my time watching tv or on the phone. I'm praying, reading the Bible and listening to worship music. Oh, God told me something one day he said "you cannot have your own way, even if you are right." Let me tell you, the flesh will immediately rise up against this. I had some talks with him expressing my anger and dilemma about this concept. But I finally realized he was trying to get me to deal with my anger. If you are fighting, that's not where he wants us to be. If we're yelling, that's not what he wants us to do. We are pushing our way and trying to get the upper hand, and love chapter 1st Corinthians 13 speaks against that. So, while I tried to put this into practice and shut my mouth it just cause me to have more trips to run to him and have a discussion. I was fighting with my husband a lot at the time and pretty much the bottom line is : if we are talkin and they are on the defensive they are not free and clear-minded to hear from God. So, best to just take off and start praying for them as you confess your sins, fears, anxiety, anger, bitterness, unforgiveness. Everything that makes our bodies sick and causes us to have bad attitudes. What a roller coaster ride that was.

It's August 2024 and I fasted so I could hear from God about a couple of months ago then on that day I injured my knee and had real bad knee pain then I laid hands on my knee and received instant healing then I suffered more knee pain for another 3 more weeks and now there is no knee pain at all 🙏

I have been brought up in the church and it was always taught that fasting is only from food and not in the way you read about in the Bible. It is so important to read the Word of God for yourself and to seek Him daily! I am so glad I came across this helpful video, because I too like others who have commented before me, was thinking about and seeking God of how he wants me to fast. I knew that it had to be more than just not eating for a certain period of time in a day or over days. I love the simplicity of God and knowing that He only wants us to humble ourselves, pray, seek Him, serve others, and treat others with love, kindness, and forgiveness as He does toward us (me). I cannot repay God for His goodness towards me, but I am glad that I now know more of the word and what to pray about as I seek God even more of His will for my life. Fasting (abstaining from food is very essential, a must but a true fasting involves going without food, abstaining from all that you've said not just when we are fasting but as Christians we ought to live that way as it surely pleases the Lord). Fast, pray, have a moment of Bible study, praise and worship God, let the fast be between you and God, abstain from all the things that please not God and the rest will come to you 🙏🏾

This is so beautiful where the Lord was correcting his people about how they were fasting so that they would confess and repent of their wicked motives and then the Blood of Jesus would cleanse and forgive us, drawing our souls up to Him, filling us with His Power to do verses 6 & 7.

The best thing a person can do is fast and pray I’ve been fasting since 2009 the good Lord took away cigarettes the good Lord took away marijuana the good Lord took away fornication Jesus came to me in a dream in 2012 when I was on a 10 day fast he looked me in the eyes and told me to tell everyone he’s coming soon. He was on a white horse with so many saints behind him. I couldn’t even count. I saw the sky roll back like a scroll, and I saw the moon turn to blood stars fell out of the sky, and the Lord caught me up in the air. When I looked down it was chaos and I begin to cry. I cried so hard that even when I woke up, I was still crying, and I can still hear the Lord say he was coming soon, when I woke up my godmother had to calm me down. She is with the Lord now now the Lord has me on a three day fast no food. I do these a lot last month. He put me on a five day fast with no food. it was a three day fast. They ended up turning into a five day fast now on a three day fast and after this, he wants me to go into a 21 day Daniel fast I don’t know what the Lord is doing, but he is not playing with his people and he is not playing with the wicked anymore

Thank you! I was going to fast, but am going to wait until after I take my LICSW test it is the LCSW in other states. I feel I will wait until after the test to so that my fast will be for GOD and not myself. I was going to fast and pray for his hand in help, I failed this test 4 times. It is a 170 clinical questions. I missed by two points. I pray this this time is God will allow me to pass the test so that I can help bring GOD our GOD back into our schools and country!!!! AMEN

He’s saying fasting alone as in when people intermediate fast & say their going on a fast , so the general definition of fasting is abstaining from food, that doesn’t have spiritual benefits. Now I don’t agree that kind of fasting is a bad thing or wrong. Sometimes I fast for health reasons with no intended spiritual benefits. I think he could have been more clear the way he phrased it.

Thank you for sharing, you did it in a way that almost anyone could understand what true fasting is. This helped me learn the true ways of fasting and how to go about it, its not about looking a certain way or pleasing your own self. It is about humbling yourself, asking for Gods mercy, drawing close to him, and knowing that it is between you and God.
