I was told directly from God in his word that this is what i needed to do to get deliverance from my health battle that has been going on for a year. I was on social media not going to lie but i have time set aside for God everyday to talk to him im on day 13 and ive read my Bible 12/13 days but I just feel like even though im listening im just not good enough or i didnt pray long enough or because I didn’t read my Bible the one day and have been on social media that my fast hasn’t been good enough in Gods eyes even when im just trying to get through the day that is so hard when im taunted with temptation every second and discouragement. This has been the hardest thing ive had to do ever and i feel like i was obedient immediately but i just dont want it to be for nothing i just hope im good enough God.

Evert day many times the evil one bring in my mind thoughts that im not fasting well, that tho i fast nothing is happening bc my fast isnt accepted by God and im always afraid of being doing something wrong. I will alsi back off my phone and just read the word of God. I read it daily and meditate but whenever im doing that when i try to concetrate he brings silly thoughts in my mind and it feels so wrong and im so sorry. Just controling your thoughts is one of the hardest things to do. Other way the devil tries to break my fast is he will create situatins for me to be angry or mad at someone. So far thnx God ive been able to take a deep breath & keep myself calm. I just hope to be filled with the Spirit & discernment. Thank you so much for your encouragement.

@@joridabr15 everyday of my first fast thats is how i felt, and even though i did not get what i wanted and technically my fast wasnt the right one God still gave me something, stick it out and he will give you something, your sacrifice will honor him and trust me, i was on my phone social media, laughing and basically making my “fast” easy when i look back that wasnt even fasting but he still gave me something, dont listen to the lies and your stomach is not worth whatever victory your fasting for. If i can do it anybody because if could marry enchiladas i would be at the altar LOL, praying for you Jorida, God bless you !

Great information. I just came off a Full fast for 24 hour. After my fasts I drink Powerade and a light meal, but have a final prayer and thanks to God before I do.

And if your new to this, I would suggest starting off simple with like a one day fast. However if the Lord is putting it on your heart to do 3 days, then that's fine.
