I was 17 when I first heard this tune on the C64 of a friend of mine. It was the reason I got a summer vacation job at the local gas station to earn me the money to buy my own C64 and own the game so I could play it and listen to its songs as often as I wanted to. This C64 then sparked my interest in computers which ultimately led to an MSc in computer science and a career in the IT business. So, in a way, Ben is responsible for the way my life turned out. I'm 51 now. I will listen to this until my last breath and it will be part of my funeral compilation. R.I.P Ben and thank you for the music.

@@JCrashB 2021, almost about to enter 2022, I'm 54 and this still gives me goose bumps now. I was a huge fan of the VIC20 and 64, have both original systems as well as the new ones that were released just because I love these systems, the games and in particular the music that came with them. I too ended up studying Computer Science because of these machines but they also sparked my interest into electronics as I wanted to be able to repair the originals. I now have my own Electronics Business I work part-time in (I actually have a high paying full-time role in the Government) and everything I have learnt about electronics has been self taught. Ben Daglish like you in way also inspired me to study I.T. and also eventually electronics. I just wish I had the music talent he had! R.I.P Ben.

Such a privilege to watch Ben play this song. So many awesome memories playing this game. I would say The Last Ninja is on the top of my list of best C64 games. Furthermore, the whole soundtrack was truly perfect for this game. If I had to choose one set of songs to listen to the rest of my life, this would probably be it , original SID or remix like this is great either way.
