I love all your content! So helpful in explaining the mechanics I am teaching my pitchers! Thank you!

When throwing the curve ball, does the pitcher put more pressure on the middle finger?

Awesome videos, the best on YT imo.

Couple things. First thank you for debunking the angled "curveball" in an easy to understand way. Next, virtually everyone talks about a late breaking curve ball, but that's not exactly true. The force that moves the ball is a combination of spin rate, seam orientation, and velocity of the ball. This is known as the Magnus effect. The greater the spin rate and the greater the velocity, the greater the force to move the ball. When the ball is released the spin rate and velocity are at maximum. So the greatest force is on the ball at release. But the force gets smaller and smaller as the ball travels too the plate because air friction is slowing the spin and the velocity. So the force on the ball is at it's lowest when it is at the plate. The ball is moving the whole pitch and the force causing the movement keeps getting smaller. There's nothing a pitcher can do to change that. However, despite that, the ball actually does move the most at the end. At release, the Magnus force has to overcome the inertia of the ball which is at rest with respect to the horizontal axis. As the ball travels towards the plate it picks up an ever increasing horizontal velocity due to the effect of a constantly applied force. And while the force is diminishing, the magnitude is small enough that with rest inertia overcomed it breaks more and more as it nears the plate. If there wasn't any air friction to slow down spin and velocity, it would break much more, but then again with no air friction there would be no Magnus force,

Not sure if you'll see this but do the grips and spins equivalent to someone who pitches but throw more modified style (not a sling pitcher)?

Do you have a video of a proper curve being thrown with a black striped ball? I've looked everywhere for a good video and I am unable to find one. Thanks. Also, I see videos of "curve balls" where the ball is spinning clockwise out of the hand and "rifling" like a bullet. Can you address that?
