@@ManpreetKaur-pg7nf i mostly practiced from the Cambridge books.. and listened to podcasts on topics of interest . If I didn't understand a word , I would go and look up the transcript to correlate better

@@sarahalenezi8350 oh of course.. 😊 I practiced everyday.. I went through this website.. Where I got the ielts books as a pdf (I'll try and find it for you..) And I practiced the tests everyday.. Even the ones on KZbin.. You need to be focused during the exam.. Because if you get distracted you're going to miss out.. Especially when it comes to listening.. Same goes for reading too.. Writing needs practice too.. I got a 7.5 but if you practice.. with your stating and endings.. You'll be able to do it.. Speaking.. you need to be clam.. Take a moment (a few seconds) to think before you answer.. Try to go through random topics because I had to discuss about keys and then suddenly switched to Astronomy.. Haha I'm sure with a little practice and determination.. You'll be able to ace your exam.. Good luck and all the very best! ❤❤

When I started to prepare I went to look for practice tests and sample papers on the internet.. there was a website that had some of the practice IELTS tests that were almost like the official tests.. i was able to practice the listening, reading tests from there.. other than that.. For listening and reading I'll advise you to practice as much as you can from KZbin.. there's a lot videos out there.. For speaking.. I'm a native English speaker myself.. but it never hurts to practice talking to someone.. the topic they asked me was everyday stuff.. like.. About Peace between countries, The stars.. and about my neighbours.. just relax yourself before the speaking test.. And in the exam hall.. for the 3 other tests.. it can get a little exhausting so be sure to get enough rest the previous night.. and eat something too. The listening you'll be able to adjust the volume to your preference.. (like they have this headset where you can adjust how loud or soft the audio plays) pay close attention to the audio.. if you miss an answer.. don't stay for too long thinking about it.. because you might miss out on the next one.. Reading you'll have practice as much as possible.. because there will be options to distract you.. practice this as much as you can.. And finally writing.. you'll be given your topic.. try not to deviate much from the main subject.. you can elaborate.. but they'll watch out for your spelling, grammar and the way you express your thoughts.. I know this was quite a long read.. but with enough practice.. you'll be able to Ace this Exam! I believe in you.. all the very best.. hi, could u check please my description, I found it too tough for me: topic is "The maps below show an industrial area in the town of Norbiton, and planned future development of the site." Sample answer: The plans demonstrate Norbiton Industrial area now and coming year, after development. Overall, industrial site will be expanded to provide more roads, and the addition of other new facilities will offer more convenience for citizens. The updates will include building of houses taking the place of some factories. The new circle road will be created in the south area in future, while the center circle will be added 2 ways for north and north-west directions to new living spaces which will be replaced by factories. The factory which is places in the west side of middle circle way, it will be given way to shops, where in opposite side of this there will be build medical center. The school will be taken the place of manufactory in the east part of industrial area. The farmland which was located in the north of site, it will be given place to housing and road where road will cut off the river. In return, agriculture land will be moved to the north-east side of area. In the south-east site of river will be introduced playground with new residential apartments which would be built in the south of it.

Hey!! I need your help to assess my speaking module as I think I messed it up badly. Firstly, I received the email regarding my speaking very late and I was actually really nervous and took a lot of pauses, corrected myself for about 2 times and I even skipped a question in the cue card. And in the follow ups, the examiner was asking me again and again that we are talking about people in general but I kept giving my personal examples. Can I still score at least 6 bands or should I reschedule the speaking module? Please reply as fast as you can.
