Ure right, i got annoyed by peoples high average speed. I got 15 years of motorbike, now i dont have motorcycle but a trek xcalibur wich i love. I prefer a nice ride in the dark with flash lights near the coast lines on trail. Speed is subjective. Every now and then i will miss the motorcycle but meh, cardio calls :)

Been riding MTB's since 87, and still enjoy getting out there. This week I sold my Scott Spark FS 650b and picked up a Trek Farley 7. My racing days are over, and now it's all about fun. I have to say the "fatty" has me enjoying the trails like I did 20 years ago, and that says A LOT!! I'm once again, MAKING time to ride, instead of FINDING time to ride. My only advice... Don't buy an intro "fatty." The experiences I had with them... just plain sucked. Save a little more, do your homework and get a good one. Cheers!!
