I mainly ride on pavement in my neighborhood and I love the sound the fat tire makes. 🚴🏘 After a while you can kind of gauge what speed you’re going depending on the road noise pitch.

Depending on the underground it sounds sometimes like a bomber squadron attacking Germany again! Especially older people over here in Germany do look like they are in shock and awe when they hear me coming on my fatbike! 😂

Whats your fastest speed on a fat bike in the flats? What speed do you average in your fat bike races? I just bought a mongoose fat bike and feel pretty slow on it lol

Not 100% sure, but more than likely getting just over 30 in the flats. Average speed for gravel races on the fat bike is 19-20. Racing in the snow is another thing, just depends on conditions. Just keep pedaling, you’ll get faster!

The bike has a screen with everything on it, and I’m pretty sure I had my garmin as well.

@@kevinburke1325 what are you talking about? I can roll up to 30 mph on my MTB, can sit with a group on road or gravel at 24-26mph? Not sure why you so hung up on it? Roll a 34 or 36 chainring with a cassette that starts with a 9 tooth cog.
