This is a very necessary topic that still doesn't get the attention it deserves. 7 years after Hassan blows the doors off of the mythology of the culture we still have no accountability what so ever. This is dangerous to say the least because Hip Hop is fueled by the youth. And if nobody takes the helm to protect the youth, the culture will die. And the more I see no closure for the victims of the past or the fact of Bambaataa's continued sidestepping of the allegations waged against him, there seems to be an end of things on the horizon. Sad how something so beautiful is continuously abused for ill gotten gain and debauching desires of old evil men. I've been duped. Make sure you have a 15 second, 30 second, and 60 second statement to sum it all up in case you have a spur of the moment opportunity to air your grievances in the street or on a live tv show. From what I've heard thus far you are eloquent and precise in the way you lay everything out. But sometimes I see people with great points go on CNN or Fox News and get shouted down by opposition because they don't seem aware of the time and they try to freestyle and start stuttering and before you know it "times up, thanks for coming" and cut to commercial. This goes for everybody with an issue that's near and dear to you: Memorize a flawless 15 second summary with facts, be prepared for at least one round of debate, and have a quick rebuttal.

Peace all, lets be honest Bam was a lot of these peoples financial backing. Yes Bam is not hugely rich but did a lot of backing for people and that's public knowledge. Rocky has been involve in NY Hip Hop for ever and people really thought they weren't going to include the UZN. Come on now we know better than that, once i heard about the museum i knew this was going to happen. I was part of the UZN Jersey chapter for 21, got brought in by Zulu King Lucky Strike and now i see why he did things different and things were the way they were when i was under him. I literally had part of Bam's record collection in my possession for a few years when he moved out of the BX back in 2007. I can honestly say i stucked with my chapter and try not to kiss up and be in the in crowd of UZN reason why i never did witness anything but now many things I thought were strange back then are coming to light as i age. But lets be honest many of the elders should know the truth, and i mean the ones older than me. I'm in my mid 40s so imagine and think who I might be referring to... Peace.
