How should my drum sound? Exactly how I want it to. Explore your options. THANKS! I like the stick hitting the snare. The hack and merch demo is a VERY nice touch.

I like how on top of spending hours practicing, we drummers also have to spend hours watching videos on drum sounds and then spend hours tinkering with our own kits to find our sound. Weezer drum sound, anyone?

I’ve used the BFSD Donut. One added benefit is that it easily hangs on the top of a floor tom leg for quick access. They are also indestructible.

I use a 14"x5.5" maple snare with Remo coated emperor head. Sounds tight, not too "choked" with a good attack and not too much rattling. I always use an Aquarian studio ring to make it sound less ringy and to cut down on buzz, but for a lower, sandier sound without any ring I use the Big Fat Snare Drum quesadilla, and for an '80s new wave or EDM sound with a lot of attack, cold sound, less overtones, and lots of roar I use the regular big fat snare drum cover. Using another drumhead on top is great for that huge sound too. When I was hanging out with Kurt Sodergren of Big Bad Voodoo Daddy he used the Snareweight with the '70s inlay which works pretty well too.

We say "on board", "on the same page", or "in sync". Also "keeping [you/me/them] in the loop" to keep somebody informed about a situation.

One idea that you may or may not know is that some drummers use the kid’s toy called “Sticky Hands” instead of “Moon Gels”.

1st option, I would elect to down-tune the 2 lugs closest to me (drummer). 1 turn, 1.5 turns, 2 turns etc. 2nd option, the donut.

Most of examples displays simply chocked sounds, without any warn, beef of low character. I am very disappointed video. Only reversed drumhead goes a little closer. The best way is to have prepared low tuned snare drum, the switch is not that hard.
