Some of these engines looked like they were beyond repair. Nice work. I never imagined someone putting so much effort to save an air cooled VW.

First, you should slow down the boring tool, it vibrates a lot, second, you must fix the piece on the table to be precise....

Is this the same Rimco on Dyer Rd. in Santa Ana, Ca.?.....AKA. Riddle Machine?
@hildebrandtfamily46584 жыл бұрын
Tom Smith yes this is the same. Rimco & FAT are now the same company with some of the same employees from when we were on Dyer.

@@hildebrandtfamily4658 I'm so glad to hear of your continued success. You were the best, and no doubt, still are. I used to work for Harry and Rosco at the height of their success. Those were the days.....

Hi,sorry.do you have a email contact? My English is not very good. I have a 356 B 1600 S from 1963. It has an engine with very little use and I would like to fix it. But I try to make my 356 a car for meetings of classic and track days. So I would like to get 180 -200 hp reliable. Is this possible with any of your Type IV engine kits of 2.375? Or is it that I need your full engine 2.650 type IV? I suppose I will also need to improve brakes, suspensions, gearbox, differential, chassis reinforcements. I'm from Canada, Québec. I appreciate the information. Thanks

Rutiguer, Thanks for the question. Yes, we offer engine kits that will work perfectly with your 356. our 2375 engine kit will definitely achieve the 180-200hp. Our 2650cc Complete Engine will produce a bit more than that by up to 20 more horsepower. We love to sell parts but when we build the motor complete we incorporate the 45 years of FAT R&D as well as run the motor through several tests prior to shipping to make sure it is perfect when it arrives to you. Please feel free to call at 714-637-2889 or email at fatperf@gmail.com. Thanks, FAT

I couldn't continue after the first 20 seconds. This is the WORST case scenario for poor machinist skills that I've ever seen.
