Regardless of whether you see this or not, I felt compelled to share. Me and my father have always went fishing together when I was younger. Finally when I just reached the age required to need a fishing license, we went to the store and bought it, never used it that season. I was so busy with school and work. Unfortunately, my father passed unexpectedly almost a year ago. Thanks to your videos and awesome content, I have decided I will be purchasing my fishing license again next week and will be again becoming a fisher-woman! This has given me the motivation to take up what I had lost. Thank you so much!

You can dooooo iiiiiittttttt....!! Have a good time on your fishing expeditions, I'm sure that your father will be looking down on you with a smile on his face and a tear in his eye saying, that's my girl...!!

All good things bless you and family my girl, do not ever give up on the weird rules or crazy stuff in Cali, realize that your skills can spread across this country. My father and grandfather "taught me how to fish," which resulted in tiny Jessica snagging a minnow in Pappaw's pond "DAD, Pappaw called me a jerk!!!" when uhmm... yeah Pappaw only said "jerk Jess Jerk" Bless you and best wishes, love and enjoy the entire pallatte of fishing. Bring freeze-dried but be ready and savoring the grateful experience of catching a trout. *pouts tired, is sick and broken* Take care of your friends and yourself, and always be respectful of your fish. God and all good things bless all of you, I love you all so much. Beautiful country. Farewell

For some reason I never got notifications for these. Thank you guys so much. It’s been a rough time this past year and a half. I struggle with the loss of him very much. However, in some lighter news, I DID in fact get my license and I managed to go fishing a few times. Unfortunately didn’t catch anything as where I live there’s only a few places that stock trout and otherwise you just gotta get lucky 🤣 thank you for your kind words, they mean more than you know❤️ this is my absolute favorite channel. That is something that bothers me about U.S healthcare. They regulate simple medical supplies that should be accessible to regular people. I have a full, field trauma kit. I dont have any official certifications, so It's was not easy to get. My emt buddy said it's cause they don't want people hurting themselves more since they don't have experience. I think it's because the government doesn't want you to fix yourself. If you injure yourself, or someone else injures you, the government wants a record of it.

Try tying a tippet with a long tag end, either a blood or triple surgeon, I prefer blood knot. Then attach your fly to the 4"-6" tag end and put your split-shot on the bottom portion, 12"-18" away. Modify with another knot if you wish to fish multiple fly's. Tight lines, Matts:)

@brendanstanford56125 жыл бұрын
I noticed too. But it's such a fine line. Too tight= drag on the fly. Too loose= can't set the hook. Drag, and correct fishing depth are my biggest challenges. I'm getting better at mending, it seems to be the key to obtaining a drag free float with not too much line out

Nice! Amazing video! I have a few tips and recommendations. When you have waders and you wade out I recommend to cast upstream from where you are standing. This makes the fly drift naturally instead of against the current if you are casting downstream. Also the fish face upstream so the fish don’t see you as well. You should try more dry flies because on my opinion it is more fun to see the fish jump out of the water with your fly. My favorite fly is the stimulator and it mimics a salmon fly which are in California. Good luck and great job!
