My mom and my aunt really, really got into fatal frame from the late 2000s to the early 2010s and I remember them putting a blanket over themselves and the monitor every time they played because of how much me and my siblings were terrified of it. A fantastic end to Shocktober. You should definitely check out the other Fatal Frame games. Also while it's too late, it's easy to tell which of the two little girls is the real one. You need the camera upgrade that blinks whenever you can get a Fatal Frame shot. If you are aiming the camera at the fake girl it won't blink when she lunges at you which it the Fatal Frame chance. It is blinks then you found the real one.

This video is three months old but might be fun to tell my story, I’m a skeptic, but 2 months ago I had a nightmare, I was in my dad’s house in my old bedroom before they gave it to my sis before I moved out. I had to go to the bathroom, so I did. The bathroom is very small, it’s like a short hallway, the toilets at the end. You have to walk by a closet across from the sinks. The lights wouldn’t turn on, but apparently in the dream I really had to go, I sat down, I heard clicking, gurgling sounds. The closet door was open. Just a crack, but open, it slowly creaks open a little more. I see a fingers grip the door. There unnaturally long. I panic and try to slam the door shut to escape the bathroom, then I see it’s head, it’s skin looks oily and charred, it’s eyes black with white iris’s and it’s mouth agape with pointy teeth. And then I woke up. I had never had a dream this vivid or terrifying before. I’ve never seen this monster or anything like it. This wasn’t from a movie, I hadn’t entered the house in months, and I haven’t thought about it recently. My friend said most of his friends and family have experiences with a similar creature. Take that for what you will. But I don’t think there’s any “oh you’re mind just made it up,” explanation for this, because like I said I’ve never seen it before.

When I was young (4-5), My family and I lived in a house where the owner who built it had passed away in it. I can remember seeing shadows of a grown man from my room on the second floor. The figure would walk across the hall on our second floor landing (you could see the shadow move across the wall) and stop at my door. It had never felt menacing but was terrifying as a child. Other strange happenings would occur. My dad's keys would randomly dissappear off of the microwave only to reappear minutes later in the exact same spot. One night my grandmother stayed over to watch my sister and I. She woke up to a man's face right in front of hers only to find no one was there when she bolted upright. She would never stay at our house again she was that startled. Now, I'm quite the skeptic when it comes to a lot of unbelievable shit but how do you just explain it all away when multiple people experience different things of that nature?

16:42 Silent Hill 2s combat serves it’s purpose fine. It’s exactly what it needs to be. It’s combat was designed around the world, whereas this game obviously has its world designed around its combat (that’s what it looks like anyways). They’re two totally different approaches to combat, so they really shouldn’t be compared.
@C0C0L0QUIN3 жыл бұрын
Quite right on that. The encounter design in this absolutely revolves around the twisting corridors and tight spaces of the village. You can see this clearly with how easy is to fight hordes of enemies at the beginning, in the wide streets, while each encounter gets more and more claustrophobic in order to force you to stand your ground and wait for a fatal frame rather than retreat to safety. Silent Hill on the other hand treats monsters not so much as battles as it does like obstacles during your exploration to drain your resources. There isn't an escalation in the difficulty of combat, because the main threat is running out of resources rather than the fights themselves.
