The problem with Hermes is, its too classic. On the catwalk, we can't see its the best fabrics, the best construction, all we can see is basic clothes, because they are, Hermes is not trendy or innovative. If you understand that, then these are the best quality basics in the world.

I mean I could go to a really good tailor and have him make the same stuff to me with the same fabrics for a lot less. At the end of the day it's about what you prioritise. Some wouldn't buy anything from a big brand like Hermes unless it's a unique piece because they're paying for the artistic value, not the fabrics or the tailoring. Some prefer to buy from big brands just for the sake of the name

Hermes is one of those lux fashion houses that doesn't need any hyping. It stands as it is, classic and high quality clothes made to last a lifetime. I'd buy one of those jackets and an extra apache shirt or belt as well.

typical Hermes...luxury without tricks or fuss, almost too basic but it is a Spring/Summer collection so paired down looks good here.
