As a 63 year old male with a certain body type I’m just totally in love with the entire colour palette style cuts I feel that I can wear at least 90% of this clothing I look forward to being able to shop for some of these pieces I’ve always been very fortunate with my body size to be able to wear almost any style thank you for the amazing colour and patterns

Boring collection with no real direction...The same blouson shape in 40 different fabrics, is just plain lazy. Clearly, a global pandemic and too much time on their hands does nothing for Hermes creativity!! I understand Hermes need to move with the times, but they have never been a street fashion brand, so why push that aesthetic?. I fail to see what customer this has been designed for at those prices.

i understand what you’re saying, it was very meh. but it’s hermes, it’s never really been at the forefront of fashion. they specialise in simple, luxury clothes for the ultra rich. people who want beautifully made clothes but don’t want to think about dressing, almost the phoebe philo charm if you will. hence why even when martin margiela was at the house it was far simpler than his other work. don’t personally see the street wear influence, it’s just a summer collection no?

This is actually the best men’s collection for spring / summer 2023 . I’ve looked at all the other designers for S/S 2023 and it either looks more like woman’s wear or artsy hype clown wear , It’s been over done already.

@@tuttutteddy8889 The recent use (also in the 2021/2 collections) of technical fabric for jackets looks very sporty and streetwear to me. This is not a bad thing, I've always admired Prada's use of this fabric, but for Hermes and their (older) wealthy customers? not sure they'd be into that aesthetic....

Feast for the eyes indeed. Well colour co-ordinated. Collection - beautifully cut and draped across carefully selected male models who are tall and lithe; unlike men in the street that comes in various height, shapes and sizes. Notably this is a collection that inspires us the working class to spin off something similar based on our budget. Doubtful that we would be able to afford any single clothing item; especially now with impending inflation arriving anytime now.
