I love Miuccia's aesthetic....and I love Raf's aesthetic....but I don't know if I love them together. They both have such a unique perspective on minimalism, sportswear and this play on masculinity/femininity that unfortunately, I think their collective efforts fall a little flat. Its almost too sharp. I don't dislike it. I love the volume in the coats, I love the blossom appliqué, the fun fur, the BAGS, the shearling...when it's good, its really spectacular, but the spare pieces with the tanks and organza skirts aren't saying enough. And I feel like this is the message they've been sending us for a while. When Miuccia was in her stride, she told us a different story each season. It was cheeky, it was fun....its all become very serious and very monotonous.

Prada's collection is getting worse year by year. The situation is same like Dior when Raf Simons still here. Like the old story, Tom Ford rescued Gucci in the best time. However, Raf's designer didn't work for Prada . The brand can not see a turning point and only leads the brand to a dead end if still not change. It just can find new and creative design in MiuMiu now.

No offence, But the company seems like giving up fashion to make more incomes. You can discover that Prada present the logo and "name" more than design keep rising up it didn't means that are good design, like the problem of Gucci in 70s

Im not sure whats going on here actually. It felt like the left over fabrics of two different collections mashed together into one, Rafs sharp masculine very serious collection and Miuccias feminin cheeky fun colorful mashed into one, dont get me wrong some of the coats are amazing very well done and the concept of the skirt I Love it some of em Yas while the other should be thrown into garbage , I donno I was excepting way much better than this. I think should Miuccia work on Prada alone I dont like the Prada when Miuccia and Raf working together on it.

Im a massive RS fan, obesessed with all the collections and collaborations he has done so far, although the RS+Prada union leaves me perplexed and bewildered. I miss the classic touch of Miuccia: ive watched the show couple of times before dropping a comment and all i see is Raf work: the cuts, the originality in the deatils, the music in the background, can you see any Miuccia in it cause i dont! i still admire the beauty of those organza skirts, the embellished oversized bomber jackets but not as much those shapeless boring! tank tops and the chains across the neck, it looks like they werejust thrown there! Raf knows how to add pins, chains, steel rings to garments but when it comes to aplly them to the Pradas, to me it doesnt work as well. I have the feeling this co-creation might not last cause it simply doesnt mix :

Watching this, it just made me look at, the extreme and utterly excessive, thinness of all models. It is truly mind-boggling to realize that nothing has changed yet.
