Haha Savage Axe go BRRRRrrrRRR Btw guys, if u wanna stay comfy with guarding; I'd recommend using guard 3-5 and maybe guard up if u rly wanna block the beams. Diving Blessing 5 is also really good against AT Velk's burst damage. Power prolonger is also really good in this fight to keep ur shield up. Thank u guys for watching and good luck, Hunters!

@@jombonidracuz6176 AT and Tempered are just special flags for the monsters that activate the mentioned states and moveset. Their stats have to be increased separately. It's not very difficult to make an AT.

People say Fatalis is the end of mhw but AT Velkhana definitely feels like more of a definite ending compared to Fatalis being an epilogue to the hunters story. The somber music playing along with Velkhana makes it almost like a final dance with the monster, it’s absolutely beautiful yet truly heartbreaking. I know people doesn’t like being locked behind mr requirements, but some quest should be. Even if they are new monsters to Iceborne, the duo of black dragon should be locked behind mr 100. I saw way to many new player enter an Alatreon fight just to cart 3 times and blame that we didn’t heal him or that the monster is overpowered an should be nerfed, but with Fatalis they did a better job with the fact that the player needs to solo his first phase before going online. I would still like the mr 100 required to attempts these fights.

You are nuts o.o I'll defo be trying to solo now xD AT Velk is defo a fun challenge; I happened across a really good team of randoms. One amazing healer & 2 attack peeps. I usually play in the middle in that setting, sometimes healing/buffing and sometimes attacking. I took it upon myself to tenderise all of AT Velk. Completed the run in around 20 something mins. 10/10 would hunt again with a team like that.

Can we PLEASE get a deco list for this build? The mix set makers I've been using don't show your list of active skills as being possible to include in a single build but those tools can be finicky even when they're up to date. I've got essentially 2-3 of every R12 and under decoration so I 100% have the decos to slot in all the skills I just can't figure out what specific combination you used to make the most of every single slot

And the final monster we get is Arch Tempered Nigergante. And maybe some new jewels combination like Atk/Def, Atk/Crit, Def/Crit, Crit/Crit Boost. And new arena battle that group up all specific type of wyvern. It would awesome to fight all the Piscine Wyvern in every 5 minute session Jyuratodus > Lavasioth > Beotodus

you take 20% more damage while using lbg and hbg. not sure about bow. Even with 1300 defense, divine blessing 5, and 30 ice ress, AT Velkana can still one shot if you play bowgun. also since most of hard hitting attacks are ranged you wanna be in close. If you play any melee I suggest switching to it. will make it 100 times easier. also hope you arent using sticky ammo. KO threashhold is so high that it isnt worth it. final tip: you can survive all attacks while wearing the ice ress mantle and dodge them all seamlessly with evasion 5. hope this helps
