sadly, doesnt mean jack shit in most circumstances. Back in Low/High rank a flash-pod pre-loaded while knocked meant you could save yourself. Unless you got like, scatternut, crystalburst, bomb pod or thorn (sometimes on that last one), or get REAL lucky with a perfectly timed face-KO rock, it's not gonna do squat. Thankfully for Fatalis they made it so every few dragon pod shots make him recoil like a cat sniffing something unpleasant though...

I actually fought and lost to Fatalis so many times solo (with cat), that I was able forge his whole armor set before slaying him. When I finally got that killing blow I woke up the whole house... Moral of the story, there is a super fine line between playing too safe, and too aggressive. Keep your balance and ride that line to victory!

Hapened to me multiple times, after fighting him countless times i just instinctively know when he is gonna fly so i stay close to the fortress and not far away from but people like to play tough yet cry while they burn when i close the gates on them so i can ensure others who are paying attention do survive. Specially if you are a heavy weapon user if your weapon takes long sheathing then i would be extra careful for my position because if the wind pressure and long run doesn't ensure that you will cart then your slow sheath animation will.

Literally just played with randoms that spent 7 minutes trying to bait fatalis to the gate. They were standing at the top though so all they were doing was baiting out his ranged fireball and breath attacks. We lost because one random took 3 of the faints, but its pretty safe to say we woulda timed out otherwise.

Like most of the time its horrible but there's always that one team that comes in clutch with A+ team work with or without comms, party heals, emotes on kill, and not setting down traps for black dragons. I've joined a bunch of random teams where somebody that was noticeably new to the game would be having trouble and instead of being helpful the other randoms would just abandon after 1 or 2 faints leaving me and the host to kill it ourselves. To me it feels like randoms on pc do 90% worse than randoms on ps4 because of this specifically. It was rare for ps4 randoms to actually abandon even if we had no carts left and ran outta healing while pc randoms will talk shit just to cart once and abandon.

Couldn't find a comment on this, but at 3:40 when your cat, Ted, put him to sleep and you blew up the barrels, you could have gotten a free wallbang instead of wounding the head. (Though the video cuts after you wound, so you might have gotten a wallbang anyways). And doesn't matter if its fatalis or any other monster (for those reading this and who don't know), if they get put to sleep while enraged, you still get a free wallbang when they wake up but you gotta be quick. (You can sometimes get a wake up hit and a wallbang, depends on the monster). Hope this helps anyone out there. Great video, so accurate to fighting fatalis lol

Did you know some of the sounds he makes before he uses his fire attacks? One with normal and super fire breath attack The other is explosion after a mili second The last one is the explosive sliva he leaves on the ground Also this gets me everytime 5:02
