Honestly, after beating dark souls 1 and on the end of dark souls 3 (the only bosses left are Midir and Gael), I can confidently say that the franchise is not as hard as I have heard. People made it look an impossible game to play, with very unfair gameplay and enemies, but it is mostly fair. Certainly far easier than what people make it look like but still a great and (mostly) enjoyable challenge, love the franchise
